The 28-year-old hurler improved his record to 7-6 this season, to go along with a 3.84 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 125 strikeouts over 98 1/3 innings of work. Cease has been an excellent source for strikeouts in fantasy this season and should remain locked into starting lineups for his next start, which is set for Wednesday against the Texas Rangers.

Minnesota Twins third baseman Jose Miranda had a big game in an 8-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday. Miranda went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, one run, and three RBI in the win. The veteran got the Twins off to a fast start in the game, ripping a three-run double in the second inning to kick off the scoring. Miranda has been red-hot of late, hitting .385 with one homer and nine RBI over his past seven contests. On the year, the 25-year-old is batting .293 with 16 doubles, eight homers, 25 runs, 33 RBI, and one stolen base. He should be under consideration for a spot in starting lineups in fantasy while he's swinging a hot bat.

San Francisco Giants outfielder Luis Matos turned in a solid game in his team's 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Matos went 2-for-3 with a solo homer to help propel his team to victory. The 22-year-old's homer in the fifth inning broke a 3-3 tie and wound up being the difference in the ballgame for the Giants. Matos is hitting .253 with three homers, 10 runs, and 21 RBI across 99 at-bats in 2024. He has been swinging a hot bat of late, hitting .381 over his past seven contests. Matos is worth a look in NL-only formats while he's hot at the plate.

Cleveland Guardians infielder Gabriel Arias turned in a solid outing in his team's 4-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday. Arias went 2-for-3 with a run, an RBI, and a stolen base but it wasn't enough as the Guardians dropped the series finale to Baltimore. The 24-year-old has been a super utility man this season as he's played everywhere on the field except catcher and pitcher, hitting .241 with three homers, 15 runs, 15 RBI, and five steals for Cleveland this season as he tries to carve out an everyday role. He has been swinging a hot bat of late, hitting .421 with two homers over his past seven contests.

Atlanta Braves outfielder Jarred Kelenic had a big day in his team's doubleheader against the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday. Kelenic started in center field and hit leadoff in both contests, combining to go 6-for-9 with one homer, four RBI, and a stolen base across both games. The 24-year-old has been a solid contributor for the Braves this season, hitting .282 with eight homers, 24 runs, 25 RBI, and three steals across 209 at-bats. He is worth a look as a reserve option in deeper mixed leagues and NL-only formats moving forward.
