Tonight, we’ll try to bounce back back from last night’s loss after the Dodgers looked abysmal at the plate. We’ll take a look into an AL West series that carries heavy playoff implications for both the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers.
Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners
Logan Gilbert will got the nod for the Mariners, and Jordan Montgomery will start for the Rangers.
Rangers shortstop Corey Seager has had an MVP-worthy season and hit his 32nd homer last night and comes in with a .333 AVG and 94 RBIs. Seager has seen RHP well this season with a .340 AVG and 25 of his 32 home runs.
In 11 plate appearances against Gilbert, Seager has five hits (2 1B, 2 2B, 1 3B), a .455 AVG and an 1.273 OPS. We’ll back Seager to produce for the Rangers in a pivotal AL West showdown. Best of luck!
