The Denver Broncos signed running back Mike Boone to a deal with $2.6 million guaranteed, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero (agreement first reported by Broncos reporter Mike Klis).

Boone spent the three previous seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, where he accumulated 379 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Boone should bolster the depth of Denver's rushing attack.
Fantasy slant: The signing of Boone could spell the end of Phillip Lindsay’s tenure in Denver. Boone flashed his talent during the final week of the 2019 season, exploding for 160 total yards on 19 touches. If Lindsay moves on, Boone can garner 8-10 touches weekly, occupying the role as Melvin Gordon’s backup and running mate. Last season Denver was the eighth-most run-heavy team in neutral scripts, calling a run play on 47% of plays. – Derek Brown
