The Arizona Cardinals signed kicker Matt Prater Wednesday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Prater is a long-time veteran who has made 83.2% of his field goals in his career. He spent the last seven seasons with the Detroit Lions. 

Fantasy slant: After spending the last seven seasons in Detroit, Prater heads to Arizona to join the Kliff Kingsbury’s squad. Prater is coming off a down season, ranking 24th out of 29 kickers with 12 or more games played in field goal percentage (75.0%). Despite the accuracy issues, Prater still possesses a leg that can boom kicks from 50+ yards. Over the last five seasons, he’s nailed 73.1% of his field goals from 50 yards or longer.  – Derek Brown
