Jones, who just turned 31, joins Jacksonville after spending his first nine seasons split between the Bengals and Lions. He has one 1,000-yard season and four years with at least 9 TDs, including exactly 9 in three of the last four years.
Jaguars land receiver, sign WR Marvin Jones
Fantasy slant: After five productive seasons in Detroit, Jones is going to Jacksonville, presumably to play alongside Trevor Lawrence. Jones has been a touchdown machine, scoring at least nine times in three of his last four seasons. He scored five touchdowns in just nine games back in 2018. While he has a similar skill-set as new teammate D.J. Chark, Jones will be a red zone darling for Lawrence. In 2020, Jones saw 12 end zone targets, a top-15 number in football, while scoring 11 end zone touchdowns over the last two seasons. Reunited with offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, Jones should remain in the WR3 mix in fantasy leagues and will likely once again be overlooked on draft day. — Adam Pfeifer
