Fantasy analysis: This is an interesting deal given the present uncertainty in Houston, but we aren't going to put on our tinfoil hats just yet. With a base salary of under $6 million, Taylor's signing shouldn't be taken as an indicator that the Texans are preparing to trade Deshaun Watson. However, they now have an insurance plan if a trade materializes. If that happens, we'd certainly have to give Taylor serious QB2-plus consideration given his ability as a runner. But as of now, Taylor is being paid as a backup, and that's how we should view him.
