A finger injury cost Wilson three games in the 2021 season. The veteran threw for a career-low 3,113 yards, along with 25 touchdowns, which marked the third-lowest total of his 10-year career. Still, Wilson managed to post a 103.1 passer rating and earn yet another Pro Bowl selection. Before getting hurt in Week 5, Wilson was on pace for 4,437 passing yards and 38 passing touchdowns over 17 games.

There are high expectations in Denver because of Wilson’s arrival. The Broncos might not have a wide receiver who’s as good as DK Metcalf, but their entire receiving corps is among the deepest in the NFL.
