The end of the Super Bowl officially signals the end of the 2024 season. The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles can now join 30 other teams in figuring out what to do to improve their teams ahead of 2025.
One major component of roster building will be how well teams can fill holes on their roster in free agency. On the surface, this group of free agents is far more disappointing compared to some of the big names that were available in 2024. However, there are still some impact players in this class along with solid veteran contributors.
Check out the top 75 free agents available this offseason below.
1. Tee Higgins, WR
It is rare for a 26-year-old receiver to hit free agency in his prime, but we may be there with Tee Higgins. The veteran receiver has at least 108 targets, 67 receptions and 900 receiving yards in four of his first five seasons. He’s scored at least five receiving touchdowns every year in the NFL.
Higgins has been limited to 12 games in each of his last two seasons, but when healthy he’s shown the ability to carve out a significant role in a passing attack shared by a legitimate alpha receiver (Ja’Marr Chase). The veteran should command WR1 money on the market unless the Bengals tag him for a second straight year ($26.2 million guaranteed).
FTN Stat to Know: Higgins finished eighth among wide receivers in EPA in 2024 (57.35).
2. Trey Smith, OG
Health concerns dropped Trey Smith to a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Since being picked up by the Chiefs, he has become one of the top interior offensive linemen in the NFL.
Smith has four straight seasons with at least 1,100 snaps played and a PFF grade above 72.0. He also has three seasons with a PFF run-blocking grade above 76.0 (’21, ’23 and ’24) and three straight seasons with a 68.0 pass-blocking grade.
The 25-year-old guard is a punishing run blocker with room to grow in pass protection (171 pressures on 3,431 career protection snaps). He will certainly reset the market for guard contracts in the NFL and will be a coveted free agent for teams with offensive line needs.
FTN Stat to Know: Kansas City was seventh in running back success rate in 2024 (44.4%).
3. Josh Sweat, Edge
Josh Sweat spent the first three years of his career as a situational pass-rusher for the Eagles before moving into an expanded role in 2021. Since then, he’s logged four straight seasons with at least 650 defensive snaps played on one of the deepest defensive line rotations in the NFL.
Sweat has four straight seasons with at least 46 pressures and 6.5 sacks, including 59 in 2024 (20th among edge-rushers in the NFL). He has at least seven tackles for loss in six straight seasons.
The veteran edge-rusher has the versatility to play as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense or a defensive end in a 4-3 defense and is in the middle of his prime as a player (27.8 years old).
FTN Stat to Know: Quarterbacks had the seventh-lowest time to pressure against the Eagles in 2024 (2.31 seconds).
4. Khalil Mack, Edge
Khalil Mack has already confirmed that he will be playing his age-34 season for somebody. The veteran edge-rusher has a PFF grade above 86.0 and a run defense grade above 83.0 in nine of 11 career seasons. Mack also has a pass-rush grade of 78.0 in eight of his years.
Mack had his fewest pressures (52) in a season with at least 600 snaps played in his career yet still posted a 10th straight season with at least 6.0 sacks. He’s on the downswing of his career but still can add plenty to a team as a two-way edge defender and disruptor.
FTN Stat to Know: The Chargers’ defense had the fifth-lowest EPA against them in 2024 (-50.37).
5. Sam Darnold, QB
![<a href=](https://dmxvtdt4jwgem.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Sam-Darnold.jpg)
The final two weeks of Darnold’s season with the Vikings (53.2% completion percentage for 411 passing yards, one touchdown, one interception and 11 sacks) were especially brutal. But Darnold is the best quarterback available in this free agency and draft cycle, so he elevates to the top of this list based on need.
It also helps that Darnold revived his career with the Vikings in 2024. The veteran quarterback completed 66% of his passes for 4,319 yards and 35 touchdowns with just 12 interceptions. Darnold still carries significant risk given how all of his non-Kevin O’Connell years went, but the positive trends shown in 2025 outweigh those risks.
The franchise tag isn’t off the table for Darnold, especially considering how few picks Minnesota has in the upcoming draft. But Darnold will likely be coveted by teams who are searching for a veteran quarterback this offseason.
FTN Stat to Know: Darnold was second in explosive passing yards (1,858) and fifth in explosive throw rate (11.4%) in his lone season with the Vikings.
6. Ronnie Stanley, OT
Ronnie Stanley showed he can still be an upper-tier left tackle when healthy. The veteran struggled to stay on the field over the previous four seasons (1,885 snaps in four seasons) before logging a career-high 1,221 snaps in 2024.
Stanley posted his fifth career season with a PFF grade above 70.0 and his sixth career year with a pass-blocking grade above 80.0. He allowed a pressure on just 6% of his pass protection snaps as well. The veteran left tackle should have a healthy market in free agency despite his age (30) and injury history.
FTN Stat to Know: Baltimore was fourth in adjusted sack rate in 2024 (5.2%).
7. Chris Godwin, WR
A Week 7 ankle injury in garbage time robbed Chris Godwin of a special season in Liam Coen’s offense. Through seven weeks, Godwin was a top 7 receiver in targets (53), receptions (43), receiving yards (520) and touchdowns (5).
In his three prior seasons with the Buccaneers, Godwin averaged 133 targets, 95 receptions, 1,050 yards and three touchdowns per season. Now he is set to hit the open market at 28 years old.
Given his injury recovery and his production as a slot-specific receiver, it could take time for Godwin’s market to materialize in free agency. However, he’s developed into an excellent complementary piece to a passing offense that can get open at will as an inside receiver.
FTN Stat to Know: Godwin led all receivers in EPA (33.8) from Weeks 1-7.
8. D.J. Reed, CB
D.J. Reed developed into an excellent outside cornerback during his three years with the Jets. The veteran cornerback has three consecutive seasons with a 70.0 or higher PFF grade and coverage grade.
Quarterbacks completed just 58.7% of their passes against Reed during his three years with the Jets. During that time, he generated 23 pass breakups and two interceptions while allowing just six total passing touchdowns. He also has plenty of experience playing on an island in man coverage, logging a 46.6%-man coverage rate in 2024.
Reed is arguably the best cornerback hitting the market and is just 28 years old, which should give him a few more seasons of high-end play.
FTN Stat to Know: The Jets were fifth in single-high coverage rate in 2024 (59.4%).
9. Jevon Holland, S
Injuries have slowed down Jevon Holland over the last two seasons (27 games played), but when healthy he’s one of the best safeties in the NFL. Holland was PFF’s third-highest-graded safety in 2023 (90.4) and has never had a PFF grade below 63.0 in his career. The veteran safety is a reliable tackler (301 career combined tackles) and is a ballhawk as a deep safety (five interceptions in four seasons).
FTN Stat to Know: Opposing quarterbacks attempted the fewest throws above 20 yards against Miami in 2024 (7.9%).
10. Drew Dalman, C
It is rare for one of the top centers in the NFL to hit free agency in his prime. However, Atlanta’s Drew Dalman is one of the best at the position and is set to find a new home. The center has a 76.3 PFF grade in his career and has always been a top-flight run blocker. His work in pass protection took a significant step in 2024 (10 pressures and two sacks on 295 pass-blocking snaps). Dalman will fortify the interior of any unit that he joins.
FTN Stats to Know: Atlanta was third in the NFL in rushing success rate in 2024 (46.7%).
11. Stefon Diggs, WR
![HOUSTON, TX - AUGUST 17: New York Giants linebacker <a href=](https://dmxvtdt4jwgem.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Stefon-Diggs-Texans.jpg)
Stefon Diggs is set to hit free agency after the Texans reduced his contract to a one-year deal after acquiring him in an offseason trade. Unfortunately, the veteran receiver’s lone team with Houston ended in a Week 8 ACL tear.
When healthy, Diggs looked like his old self. From Weeks 1-8, he ranked sixth among wide receivers in targets (62) and receptions (47). He was 16th in receiving yards (496) while averaging 15.2 PPR points per week. Diggs was a top 15 wide receiver in four weeks while operating out of the slot with Houston.
Diggs is 31 years old and coming off a significant leg injury but he showed in 2024 that he can still get open and catch the ball. It may take him time to get fully up to speed, but he can be an impact player late in the season when he’s fully healthy.
FTN Stat to Know: Diggs was ninth among wide receivers in open rate (51.6%) from Weeks 1-8 (minimum 10 targets).
12. Milton Williams, DT
Milton Williams has made an impact as a rotational piece for the Eagles’ interior defensive line through his first four seasons. He’s never played fewer than 446 snaps in his career and set a career-high with 628 snaps played in 2024.
Williams logged three straight seasons with a 70.0 or higher PFF grade and noticeably took a step as a pass-rusher this season. He doubled his best season in terms of pressures (50) and set a career-high in sacks (5.0).
Defensive tackles that can rush the passer are one of the most valuable players to have on defense, and Williams will turn 26 just before the 2025 season. Don’t be surprised if a team breaks the bank for his skill set in the hopes that he continues to grow.
FTN Stat to Know: The Eagles defense had the seventh-fastest time to pressure in 2024 (2.31 seconds).
13. Haason Reddick, Edge
The Jets traded for Haason Reddick after letting Bryce Huff walk in free agency. Unfortunately, that move proved to be worthless after a contract dispute kept Reddick off the field for seven weeks.
Reddick failed to make a major impact in his lone season with the Jets (14 tackles and 1.0 sacks). The veteran edge-rusher finds himself high in these rankings because of the prolific pass-rushing ability he showed from 2020 through 2023.
During that stretch, Reddick amassed 255 pressures and 50.5 sacks. The only players with more are T.J. Watt (62.0), Myles Garrett (58.0) and Trey Hendrickson (53.0). Reddick will turn 31 during the 2025 season but still should have plenty of ability to rush the passer if a team meets his contract demands.
FTN Stat to Know: The Jets had the fourth-highest pressure rate in 2024 (32.2%).
14. Osa Odighizuwa, DT
Osa Odighizuwa developed from a third-round pick to an impact player on Dallas’s defensive line over the last four seasons. The UCLA product has at least 643 snaps played each season and has three straight years with a 68.0+ PFF grade.
Odighizuwa has weaknesses as a run defender but has become a consistent pass-rushing force on the interior defensive line. He’s logged at least 38 pressures and 2.0 sacks in each season of his career and has two seasons with 4.0 sacks. He’s logged three seasons with a 70.0+ pass-rushing grade.
Like Milton Williams, many teams will hope that Odighizuwa will further develop as he enters his prime (26.4 years old).
FTN Stat to Know: Dallas had the second-highest adjusted sack rate in 2024 (10.0%).
15. Carlton Davis, CB
The Lions acquired Carlton Davis during the 2024 offseason to add a veteran presence to their young secondary. They were rewarded with a career year out of the veteran outside corner.
Davis thrived in Detroit’s man-heavy coverage, posting career-highs in PFF grade (74.5), coverage grade (72.1) and tackling grade (64.4). He allowed a 59.7% completion percentage while generating six pass breakups and two interceptions.
The cornerback is still just 28 years old and has shown the ability to be a strong cornerback in man and zone schemes. His services should be in high demand this season.
FTN Stat to Know: Detroit led the NFL in man coverage rate in 2024 (60.7%).
16. Charvarius Ward, CB
Charvarius Ward struggled through injuries in 2024, playing in just 12 games with the 49ers. The result was Ward giving up a career-high completion percentage against (60.4%) with five touchdowns allowed.
In his two previous healthy seasons with the 49ers, he had functioned as a top-end coverage corner who wasn’t afraid to make an impact in the run game. Ward is on the verge of turning 29, so he should have plenty of good football ahead of him.
FTN Stat to Know: Opposing Quarterbacks had the 14th-lowest EPA passing against the Chiefs in 2024 (3.79).
17. Aaron Jones Sr., RB
Jones’ lone season with Minnesota showed that the veteran running back could handle a bigger role in a team’s backfield. Jones logged a career-high 255 carries in 2024 which led to 1,138 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns. He also caught 51 of 62 targets for 408 yards and two touchdowns.
More importantly, Jones was able to stay healthy during the season. He’s easily the best free agent running back, although his age (30) and injury history may lead him to another short-term deal.
FTN Stat to Know: Jones was 15th among running backs in avoided tackles (47).
18. Kevin Zeitler, OG
Kevin Zeitler‘s lone season in Detroit was a rousing success. Zeitler played 1,047 snaps and finished with the second-highest PFF grade (86.8) and the highest run-blocking grade (87.2) of his career. Zeitler also had his fourth straight season with 20 or fewer pressures allowed.
Zeitler hasn’t shown too much dropoff in his overall play, but he is on the cusp of turning 35. He can be a steadying force for any team needing a guard to take their offensive line to the next level.
FTN Stat to Know: Detroit was sixth in rushing success rate (44.6%) and seventh in explosive run rate (12.7%) in 2024.
19. Zack Baun, LB
Zack Baun went from a situational edge-rusher with the Saints to a full-time off-ball linebacker with the Eagles. The move resulted in a First Team All-Pro nod in his first full season as a starter.
The 28-year-old racked up 151 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and an interception. He was especially sound in coverage, posting a 91.7 PFF coverage grade. Baun is the top linebacker on the market.
FTN Stat to Know: Offenses had the fifth-lowest success rate on power runs against the Eagles in 2024 (58.5%).
20. Marquise Brown, WR
Marquise Brown took a one-year prove-it deal with the Kansas City Chiefs but missed almost all of the season due to a shoulder issue. Brown was able to return for the playoffs and has looked solid (22 targets, 12 receptions and 126 receiving yards). The veteran receiver will likely need to follow the same process this offseason due to the injury, but he is still just 27 years old and can make explosive plays down the field.
FTN Stat to Know: Brown was 22nd in yards after catch (46) in Weeks 16 and 17 of the regular season.
21. Dre Greenlaw, LB
There was a time when Dre Greenlaw was regarded as one of the best linebackers in the NFL. In 2022 and 2024, Greenlaw amassed 247 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, 10 passes defended and an interception.
Unfortunately, Greenlaw tore his Achilles in Super Bowl LVIII and missed most of the 2024 season. He was able to return but logged just 24 snaps before being shut down with another injury. Now teams will need to invest in him not knowing how well he’s returned to his pre-injury form.
FTN Stat to Know: The 49ers were third in EPA against the run in 2024 (27.84).
22. Byron Murphy Jr., CB
Byron Murphy Jr.‘s second year in Minnesota was arguably the best season of his career. Murphy set career-highs in tackles (81), passes defended (14) and interceptions (6). He continued to show that he could play outside and in the slot, which will be a commodity in free agency. The 27-year-old isn’t a lockdown corner, but he’s an above-average starter with some versatility.
FTN Stat to Know: Quarterbacks had the second-worst EPA against Minnesota in 2024 (-58.42).
23. Alaric Jackson, LT
Alaric Jackson had the best season of his career ahead of free agency. Jackson played 14 games and 893 snaps in 2024 while posting career-best marks in pass blocking grade (79.5) and PFF grade (78.3). He’s given up just four sacks and 61 pressures on 1,072 pass-blocking snaps in his two years as a starter.
Jackson has holes in his game as a run blocker, but he’s just 26 years old and has been an integral part of the Rams’ excellent offensive line. He should have a robust market in free agency this offseason.
FTN Stat to Know: The Rams had the sixth-lowest adjusted sack rate in 2024 (5.7%).
24. Ryan Kelly, C
Ryan Kelly fought through another injury-riddled season with the Colts in 2025, playing just 10 games and 601 snaps. He continues to be an above-average player when healthy as evidenced by his 67.0 PFF grade in six of nine seasons. Kelly has given up just two sacks and 18 pressures in his last two seasons.
Kelly hits free agency as a 31-year-old with a growing list of injury concerns. He can still upgrade many teams on the interior offensive line when healthy, so somebody will certainly gamble on his ability to stabilize their offensive line even if it is for a limited time.
FTN Stat to Know: Indianapolis surrendered the ninth-fewest sacks in 2024 (32).
25. Rasul Douglas, CB
Rasul Douglas was fantastic with the Bills in 2023 after being traded from the Green Bay Packers. In 2023, Douglas had four pass breakups, four interceptions and just one touchdown surrendered in 313 coverage snaps. In 2024 he allowed three touchdowns and had just three pass breakups on 493 coverage snaps.
Douglas is still a solid veteran who is coming off the best three-season stretch of his eight-year career. He will turn 30 in 2025, so his market could be limited despite his strong recent history.
FTN Stat to Know: Buffalo had the fourth-lowest man coverage rate on defense in 2024 (37.7%).
26. Cam Robinson, OT
Cam Robinson isn’t a top-tier left tackle, but he’s a reliable veteran who played well with the Vikings and Jaguars in 2024. The veteran has four straight seasons with a PFF grade between 64.0 and 68.0.
Robinson is a mediocre run blocker who is more limited to zone schemes as opposed to gap schemes, but he’s remained a solid pass-protector. He’s never had a PFF pass-blocking grade below 63.0 in his career. Robinson won’t turn 30 until the 2025 regular season and should have several good years ahead of him.
FTN Stat to Know: Minnesota’s quarterbacks were second in the NFL in time to throw (2.90 seconds) in 2024.
27. Tyron Smith, OT
Unfortunately, Tyron Smith‘s injury woes followed him to the New York Jets. Smith played just 592 snaps in 2024, surrendering five sacks and 22 pressures on 386 protection snaps. Smith is still an above-average left tackle, but his play took a noticeable step back when he was on the field. He can still be a solid veteran option, but will likely appeal to win-now teams looking to get the most out of a 34-year-old with a lengthy injury history.
FTN Stat to Know: The Jets had the 11th-best clean pocket rate in 2025 (70.5%).
28. Justin Fields, QB
![PITTSBURGH, PA - SEPTEMBER 22: Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback <a href=](https://dmxvtdt4jwgem.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Justin-Fields.jpg)
Justin Fields started the season as Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback, but he couldn’t hold on to the job. Still, it was a good audition that showed improvement as a passer (66.2% completion rate with 1,106 yards and five touchdowns with one interception) while maintaining a threat as a runner (55 carries for 241 yards and five touchdowns).
Fields still has some very clear flaws (especially as a passer) but is just 25 years old with plenty of untapped potential. He could have a robust market given the poor draft class and the number of QB-needy teams.
FTN Stat to Know: Fields was 15th in quarterback EPA from Weeks 1-6 (9.48).
29. Camryn Bynum, S
Camryn Bynum took a step back in production in 2024, but he still put together a solid season. Bynum racked up 96 tackles, 10 passes defended and three interceptions, but was credited with three touchdowns.
However, his real value comes from his willingness to make plays as a run defender. Bynum has lined up primarily as the deep safety (2,294 snaps) but has been used as a slot corner (579) and box defender (497) a fair amount. He will generate plenty of interest as a 27-year-old safety with a presence in the run game.
FTN Stat to Know: Quarterbacks had the second-highest turnover-worthy throw rate against Minnesota in 2024 (4.6%).
30. Malcolm Koonce, Edge
The Raiders thought enough about Malcolm Koonce‘s development that they opted to pass on any of the first-round pass-rushers in the 2024 draft class. Unfortunately, Koonce tore his ACL right before the team’s first game, ending his breakout season before it could begin.
Koonce is entering free agency as a 26-year-old edge-rusher with just 617 career snaps played. He was highly effective as a pass-rusher in 2023 (8.0 sacks on 344 pass-rushing snaps). He has plenty of untapped potential and is worth the risk despite the significant knee injury.
FTN Stat to Know: Koonce had the same pressure rate as Maxx Crosby in 2023 (2.2%).
31. DeAndre Hopkins, WR
DeAndre Hopkins took a significant step back in production while splitting time between the Titans and Chiefs in 2024. In total, Hopkins had 56 receptions on 80 targets for 610 yards and five touchdowns. He failed to make a consistent impact in 10 games with the Chiefs despite a lack of significant target competition.
Veteran receivers at this stage rarely age well, but this is a poor wide receiver free agent class, and Hopkins did have some big games with the Chiefs. He is 32 years old but can still be a contested-catch specialist with the ability to win in the end zone.
FTN Stat to Know: Hopkins had a 93.3% adjusted catch rate in 2024.
32. Asante Samuel Jr., CB
2024 was a lost season for Asante Samuel Jr. after the cornerback was limited to just 234 snaps and four games due to a shoulder injury. Samuel had some ups and downs during his time with the Chargers but was coming off a 2023 season that saw him generate 11 pass breakups and a 75.6 PFF grade.
Samuel has always struggled as a tackler and has inconsistencies as a cornerback (13 touchdowns surrendered on 158 career receptions), but he has flashed enough playmaking ability as a defender to warrant a team taking a shot on a 25-year-old cornerback with upside.
FTN Stat to Know: Wide receivers posted the third-lowest yards per route run against the Chargers in 2024 (6.2).
33. Justin Reid, S
Veteran safety Justin Reid is set to hit free agency after an excellent three-year stint with the Kansas City Chiefs. Reid was a versatile chess piece on the defense for Kansas City, playing a role as the deep safety (1,029 snaps), box defender (1,134 snaps) and slot corner (613 snaps). He amassed 265 tackles (12 for loss), 4.0 sacks, three interceptions and a forced fumble.
Reid will turn 28 before the 2025 season, so he still has some good years left in the tank. He is still an above-average two-way safety that can have a positive impact on the back end of most defenses in the league.
FTN Stat to Know: Kansas City had the second-highest rate of 2-high coverage in 2024 (50.5%).
34. Mekhi Becton, OG
Mekhi Becton never developed into an elite left tackle during his three seasons with the Jets thanks to a series of injuries and struggles in pass protection (19 sacks and 75 pressures surrendered in three seasons). He signed with the Eagles in free agency to try to revive his career, ultimately moving to right guard.
The result was a career-high in snaps (1,097) and excellent play as a run-blocking interior lineman with continued struggles in pass protection (five sacks and 33 pressures on 541 pass-blocking snaps). Becton enters free agency as a 26-year-old with a lengthy injury history that has positional versatility across the offensive line. Somebody will certainly gamble on his massive upside.
FTN Stat to Know: The Eagles had the second-best rushing EPA in 2025 (55.4).
35. Zack Martin, OG
Zack Martin‘s (potentially) final season with the Cowboys ended after 10 weeks thanks to an ankle injury. Martin continued a three-year downward trend in terms of his PFF grade (65.6) but was still an above-average guard most of the season. Martin’s struggles have been especially shown in pass protection, where he’s surrendered nine of his 20 career sacks and 48 combined pressures over the last two years.
There is a chance that Martin will retire given his age (34) and injury history. However, if he elects to return for one more season, he will be one of the better interior linemen on the market despite the recent decline in his play.
FTN Stat to Know: Dallas’s offensive line was 10th in sack rate in 2024 (5.9%).
36. James Daniels, OG
James Daniels was amid a career season (92.9 PFF grade) before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 4. Daniels has been an above-average right guard with the Steelers and Bears over his seven-year career. The veteran guard is still very young given his years in the NFL (27), so teams may have faith that he can bounce back from the significant injury.
It may take a while for Daniels’ market to materialize as he recovers, but teams with a need on the interior of the offensive line will certainly be interested in his services.
FTN Stat to Know: Pittsburgh had the fifth-lowest rushing EPA in 2024 (-52.8).
37. Talanoa Hufanga, S
Talanoa Hufanga looked to be the next big two-way safety in 2022 when he was named a First-Team All-Pro in his first season as a starter. Hufanga racked up 97 tackles, two sacks, nine passes defended and four interceptions that season. A torn ACL in 2023 and a wrist injury in 2024 have limited him to just 885 snaps in the past two seasons combined.
Teams will take a chance that the recent injuries haven’t sapped Hufanga (26) of his considerable upside as a solid all-around safety.
FTN Stat to Know: Opposing quarterbacks had the fourth-lowest explosive throw rate against the 49ers in 2024 (7.6%).
38. Amari Cooper, WR
Amari Cooper is entering free agency with uncertainty after he struggled through 2024. Cooper posted his fewest targets (85), receptions (44) and receiving yards (547). There was plenty of excitement after he was traded to the Bills, but Cooper struggled to carve out a significant role in the passing attack.
Cooper is just 30 years old despite finishing 10 seasons in the NFL, so he should have no problem finding a home given his history of high-volume production.
FTN Stat to Know: Cooper had the fifth-highest first-read target rate among wide receivers in 2024 (84.7%).
39. Darius Slayton WR
The Giants have been actively trying to replace Darius Slayton at receiver during his entire career, but he keeps producing as a field stretcher. Slayton has averaged 77 targets, 47 receptions and 689 yards over the last three seasons with eight total touchdowns scored.
Slayton is just 28 years old and has consistently shown that he’s a reliable deep target despite catching passes from Daniel Jones, Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito. He could have an interesting market for teams looking for a legitimate field stretcher to challenge safeties.
FTN Stat to Know: Slayton had a 23.1% explosive catch rate in 2024.
40. Levi Onwuzurike, DT
Levi Onwuzurike put together his best season in the final year of his contract, setting career-highs in snaps played (635), PFF grade (69.4), pressures (45) and sacks (1.5). He also has the versatility to line up on the interior as a 3-tech defensive tackle or kick out to defensive end depending on team need or defensive package.
Onwuzurike doesn’t have the career counting stats because of a lost season due to a back injury in 2022 but will be 27 years old in 2025 and has shown flashes of solid play, especially in the passing game.
FTN Stat to Know: Detroit had the sixth-highest blitz rate in 2024 (33.6%).
41. Bobby Wagner, LB
Bobby Wagner‘s game is timeless. Nine straight seasons with at least 130 tackles. Three straight years with 10 or more tackles for loss. At least 3.0 sacks in five of the last six years. Eleven straight seasons as an All-Pro.
Wagner is 34 years old, but he is still a consistent tackler who remains a master of putting himself in a position to make plays and adjusting the defense.
FTN Stat to Know: Running backs had the 11th-lowest juke rate against Wagner in 2024 (1.6%).
42. Keenan Allen, WR
![CHICAGO, IL - SEPTEMBER 29: Chicago Bears wide receiver <a href=](https://dmxvtdt4jwgem.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Keenan-Allen.jpg)
Keenan Allen had a solid season with the Chicago Bears, but his production dipped in an offense with poor play calling, inconsistent quarterback play and a bad offensive line.
Allen still caught 70 of 121 targets for 744 yards and seven touchdowns. He posted the lowest catch rate (59.8%), yards per route run (1.36) and PFF grades of his career (64.4). The veteran receiver looked to have lost a step at times throughout the season but still put up some stretches of solid production.
Even if Allen has lost a step, he is still a savvy slot man who can win in space.
FTN Stat to Know: Allen was tied for 20th in yards per route run against zone coverage in 2024 (1.7).
43. Paulson Adebo, CB
Paulson Adebo has developed into a very effective outside cover corner during his final two seasons with the Saints. Adebo has allowed just a 58.2% completion percentage against the last two seasons while allowing just two passing receptions. He’s broken up 18 passes and generated seven interceptions in that same time.
Adebo has some flaws as a tackler but will turn 26 during the 2025 NFL season. He’s going to be a popular player for teams looking to bolster their outside coverage.
FTN Stat to Know: Wide receivers had the fourth-lowest EPA against the Saints when Adebo was healthy in 2025 (-45.33).
44. Russell Wilson QB
Russell Wilson missed the start of the season with a calf injury but still turned in a solid 11 games as the Steelers starter in 2024. Wilson completed 63.7% of his passes for 2,482 yards and 16 touchdowns with five interceptions.
Wilson’s best play is behind him, but he can still provide a steady veteran presence. Given the big need for quarterbacks across the NFL and the lack of options in the draft, he should have no problem finding a home in 2025.
FTN Stat to Know: Wilson was second in deep passing completion percentage in 2024 (46.7%).
45. Chase Young, Edge
Chase Young took a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints to try to regain value across the league due to the inconsistent start to his career. He showed that he can still be an effective pass-rusher (5.5 sacks) with some holes in his run defense (54.6 run defense).
Young has never hit the ceiling we all expected when he was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite that, he has become a very effective pass-rusher who will be coveted by teams this offseason.
FTN Stat to Know: New Orleans had the seventh-lowest pressure rate in 2024 (25%).
46. Justin Simmons, S
Justin Simmons isn’t as dynamic as he used to be, but he’s still an above-average safety. Simmons logged 62 tackles, seven passes defended and two interceptions in his lone season with the Falcons. Simmons is starting to struggle with his range in coverage but can provide an excellent veteran presence even as a 31-year-old safety.
FTN Stat to Know: Atlanta allowed the second-lowest yards per target (6.6) and yards per reception (9.9) in 2024.
47. Juwan Johnson, TE
Juwan Johnson was one of the few bright spots for a terrible Saints offense. Johnson played in 17 games and caught 50 of 66 passes for 548 yards and three touchdowns. Since becoming the team’s primary tight end in 2024, he’s totaled 10 touchdown catches.
Johnson is only 28 years old and was a college wide receiver who converted to tight end in the NFL. There is a chance his best football is still ahead of him.
FTN Stat to Know: Johnson was 13th in yards per reception among tight ends in 2024 (11.0).
48. B.J. Hill, DT
Teams love a defensive tackle who can generate pressure on the quarterback, which means that B.J. Hill should be a target for many in free agency. Hill has never had a PFF grade below 65.0 in his seven-year career. During his four-year tenure with the Bengals, he generated 137 pressures and 16.0 sacks on 1,760 pass-rushing snaps.
FTN Stat to Know: Opposing quarterbacks had the second-worst time to pressure against the Bengals in 2024 (2.25 seconds).
49. Nick Bolton, LB
Nick Bolton has been a reliable off-ball linebacker for the Chiefs, racking up at least 100 tackles in three of four seasons. 2024 was statistically one of his better seasons, as the veteran linebacker racked up 11 tackles for loss, seven QB hits, 3.0 sacks, six passes defended and an interception.
Bolton is on the cusp of turning 25 and has never had a PFF grade below 65.0 or a run defense grade below 67.0. His ability to make an impact in coverage has been inconsistent, but he is still a linebacker who will be on a lot of team’s radars.
FTN Stat to Know: Opposing offenses had the seventh-lowest explosive run rate against Kansas City in 2024 (10.0%).
50. Dan Moore Jr., OT
The Steelers have invested in first-round picks the last two seasons to improve their tackle situation. Dan Moore Jr has been able to survive those acquisitions to hold down the left tackle spot (thanks to some injury luck) despite his own struggles.
2025 was his best season per PFF (67.2 grade), but he did surrender 12 sacks and 41 pressures on 615 pass protection snaps. The veteran left tackle is hitting free agency at just 26 years old and has four straight seasons with at least 900 snaps played. He’s a quality tackle who can certainly provide average to above-average play for many teams across the league.
FTN Stat to Know: The Steelers had the 13th-lowest clean pocket rate in 2024 (66.3%).
51. Patrick Mekari, OL
Patrick Mekari has functioned as a jack of all trades for the Ravens offensive line for the past six seasons. He has played over 3,000 career snaps moving between all five offensive line positions depending on the holes needed to be filled along the unit.
2024 wasn’t his best season despite becoming a full-time starter (60.0 PFF grade), but before that, he had never had a PFF grade below 66.0 as a rotational piece. He could have a robust free agent market given his versatility across the offensive line.
FTN Stat to Know: Baltimore had the 11th-most time to pressure in 2024 (2.49 seconds).
52. Poona Ford, DT
Poona Ford re-discovered his prime form in his lone season with the Chargers. Ford had 39 tackles, 3.0 sacks and five passes defended in 2024. He set a career-high in pass-rush grade (71.1) and was above average in run defense.
He’s undersized and dropped off during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, but Ford does still have the ability to make an impact as a pass-rusher as an interior defensive lineman.
FTN Stat to Know: The Chargers allowed the fewest rushing touchdowns in 2024 (7).
53. Evan Brown, OG
Evan Brown was a solid addition to Arizona’s offensive line in 2024. He played in all 17 games for the Cardinals, logging 1,070 snaps at left guard and finishing with a respectable 65.9 PFF grade.
Brown has struggled as a run blocker but has significant experience at all three interior offensive line positions (including stretches as a starting center for Seattle and Detroit since 2021). He is just 28 years old and should have a market as a league-average starter or an interior depth piece.
FTN Stat to Know: Arizona had the fifth-lowest sack rate in 2024 (4.9%).
54. Will Fries, OG
Will Fries had a fantastic start to his 2024 season before a fractured tibia ended his year in Week 5. Fries posted an 86.9 PFF grade and allowed just two sacks and six pressures on 268 snaps to that point.
The 2021 seventh-round draft pick was a dependable piece at right guard for the Colts the last three seasons but is probably more of a solid addition than a transformative piece at right guard. He deserves to get another shot at starting but could easily settle into an experienced depth piece for many teams.
FTN Stat to Know: Indianapolis had the sixth-best yards before contact in 2024 (2.4).
55. Azeez Ojulari, Edge
Azeez Ojulari was never able to truly harness his athletic gifts as a full-time player on the Giants thanks to injuries and the acquisition of Brian Burns. However, he is still an effective pass-rusher when on the field.
Ojulari has just one career season with fewer than 5.0 sacks in his four NFL seasons. He’s also logged 108 career pressures on just 1,036 pass-rushing snaps. He won’t turn 25 until the 2025 season and plenty of teams (especially in 3-4 defenses) will be hoping they can unlock his potential and keep him healthy.
FTN Stat to Know: Opposing quarterbacks had the fastest time to pressure against the Giants in 2024 (2.21 seconds).
56. Najee Harris, RB
![PHILADELPHIA, PA - AUGUST 12: Pittsburgh Steelers running back <a href=](https://dmxvtdt4jwgem.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Najee-Harris-1.jpg)
Najee Harris quietly lived up to his billing as a first-round pick in 2021. He’s had four straight seasons with 255+ carries, 1,000+ rushing yards and at least six rushing touchdowns. He’s also had at least 29 receptions and 170+ receiving yards every year of his career. More importantly, he’s played in every game since being drafted despite suffering injuries.
Harris isn’t very dynamic, but he’s an effective north/south runner who can handle a three-down workload.
FTN Stat to Know: Harris had the ninth-most explosive runs in 2024 (30).
57. DeMarcus Lawrence, Edge
DeMarcus Lawrence‘s final season with the Cowboys ended after just four games thanks to a foot injury. It was only the fourth time in his 11-year career that he played fewer than 16 games.
From 2017 to 2023, Lawrence never had a PFF grade below 78.0, a run defense grade below 68.0 or a pass rushing grade below 74.0. He logged at least 3.0 sacks every season and had just one season (an injury-shortened 2021) with fewer than 47 pressures during those eight years.
Foot injuries are always worrying, especially for a soon-to-be 33-year-old with a lot of mileage on his body. But Lawrence can still provide a steady veteran pass-rushing presence for a 4-3 team looking to get after the quarterback in 2025.
FTN Stat to Know: Dallas had the second-highest sack rate in 2024 (8.5%).
58. Brandon Scherff, OG
Brandon Scherff‘s best football is behind him, but he’s still an extremely reliable guard on Jacksonville’s offensive line. He’s logged three straight seasons with 1,000+ snaps during his tenure with Jacksonville and is still very steady in pass protection (eight sacks and 59 pressures on 2,005 protection snaps). Scherff just turned 33 and is still capable of stretches of above-average guard play.
FTN Stat to Know: Jacksonville had the second-best clean pocket rate in 2024 (74.7%).
59. Tre’von Moehrig, S
Tre’von Moehrig has consistently developed throughout his rookie contract and is one of the better available safeties on the market. The 25-year-old had the best season of his career in 2024, racking up 104 tackles, 10 passes defended, an interception and a sack. Moehrig still has his struggles in coverage but showed that he can be one of the better tackling safeties in 2025.
FTN Stat to Know: Offenses had the 12th-lowest explosive catch rate against the Raiders in 2024 (12.7%).
60. Julian Blackmon, S
Julian Blackmon has been able to overcome several significant injuries early in his career to develop into an above-average safety. Blackmon has back-to-back seasons with at least 987 snaps played, a PFF grade above 68.0 and a PFF coverage grade above 72.0. He’s racked up 174 tackles, 12 passes defensed and seven interceptions the last two years.
Blackmon has been able to overcome his injuries and has the makings of a ball-hawk coverage safety.
FTN Stat to Know: The Colts were tied for the 10th-highest zone coverage rate on defense (62.4%).
61. Dayo Odeyingbo, Edge
The Colts gambled on Dayo Odeyingbo‘s considerable tools in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The defensive end never truly developed but was able to carve out a nice role as a pass-rusher during his tenure with the team. Odenyingbo compiled 96 pressures and 16.0 sacks on 1,095 pass-rushing snaps since 2022. The fourth-year veteran just turned 25 and still has some potential to unlock as he hits his prime.
FTN Stat to Know: Indianapolis’ defense had the fifth-lowest pressure rate in 2024 (6.6%).
62. Morgan Moses, OT
The Jets traded for Morgan Moses to fortify their offensive line for Aaron Rodgers. Moses was a solid addition when healthy but logged the fewest snaps played since his rookie year (723). The veteran right tackle can still provide average offensive line play (63.3 PFF grade) and continues to be strong as a pass-blocker (two sacks and 16 pressures). He is worth the risk from an age (34) and injury standpoint for teams looking to add a veteran starter to their right tackle position.
FTN Stat to Know: The Jets had the eighth-longest time to pressure in 2024 (2.56 seconds).
63. Jonathan Jones, CB
Jonathan Jones hits free agency as a 32-year-old cornerback with outside and slot experience. Jones has three straight seasons with at least 48 tackles and six passes defended. He may be starting to lose a step in coverage (75.5% reception rate against and seven passing touchdowns surrendered), but he can still provide experience and a willingness to tackle at cornerback in 2025.
FTN Stat to Know: Offenses had the second-highest receiving EPA against the Patriots in 2024 (88.58).
64. Jamien Sherwood, LB
An injury to C.J. Mosley gave Jamien Sherwood a chance to show what he could do in an expanded defensive role. He did not disappoint.
The 25-year-old off-ball linebacker led the Jets in tackles (158) and made an impact in the passing game by generating 2.0 sacks and three passes defended. Sherwood only has one (really good) season of starting production on his resume but showed enough for teams to be interested in his services as he hits his prime.
FTN Stat to Know: The Jets defense allowed the fewest yards before contact in 2024 (1.4).
65. Dante Fowler Jr., Edge
Dante Fowler Jr. followed Dan Quinn to Washington and put together a strong season as a pass-rusher. Fowler led the team in sacks (10.5) and tackles for loss (14) while adding two forced fumbles and an interception.
Fowler is 30 years old but has six straight seasons with at least 3.0 sacks. He will have some appeal for teams looking for an effective situational pass-rusher.
FTN Stat to Know: Washington had the third-highest blitz rate in 2024 (35.7%).
66. J.K. Dobbins, RB
![FOXBOROUGH, MA - DECEMBER 28: Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. (Photo by Fred Kfoury III/Icon Sportswire)](https://dmxvtdt4jwgem.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/J.K.-Dobbins.jpg)
J.K. Dobbins had an excellent season after fighting his way through multiple seasons of serious lower-body injuries. Dobbins played in 13 games for the Chargers, carrying the ball 195 times for 905 yards and nine rushing touchdowns while adding 32 receptions for 153 yards.
The injury history for Dobbins is lengthy, but he’s just 26 years old and has handled just 429 carries since 2020. He showed that he can still make explosive plays as a runner (even if he’s lost some top-end speed) and could be a cheaper veteran running back option for teams this offseason.
FTN Stat to Know: Dobbins had the seventh-highest explosive run rate among running backs in 2024 (13.8%).
67. Lavonte David, LB
Lavonte David continues to play at a high level despite being 35 years old. The veteran linebacker posted his third straight season with 120+ tackles and 3.0+ sacks in his 13th career season. David isn’t as rangy as he was when he was younger, but he’s able to put himself in a position to make plays thanks to his high football IQ.
FTN Stat to Know: Tampa Bay had the highest blitz rate in the NFL in 2024 (42.4%).
68. Jedrick Wills Jr., OT
Jedrick Wills Jr. was excellent in his first two seasons but has never lived up to his billing as a top-10 pick. He hasn’t hit a 55.0 PFF grade since 2022 and has given up 21 sacks and 129 pressures on 2,121 pass-blocking snaps in his career.
Wills has been limited to just 814 snaps due to a 2023 knee injury and a 2024 benching. He will turn 26 during the 2025 season and has at least shown that he can be a steady presence at left tackle.
FTN Stat to Know: Cleveland allowed the most pressures in the NFL in 2024 (241).
69. Baron Browning, Edge
Baron Browning had a strong season with the Broncos in 2023 (74.5 PFF grade) but struggled to find his way into a bigger role before being traded to Arizona in Week 10. In total, the veteran edge-rusher had just 25 pressures and two sacks on 215 pass-rush snaps between Denver and Arizona.
Browning has shown the ability to get after the quarterback, racking up 73 pressures and 9.5 sacks in 2022 and 2023 combined. Browning, 26, has the ability to work as a pass-rushing specialist for teams running a 3-4 defense.
FTN Stat to Know: Arizona was fifth in the NFL in adjusted sack rate after acquiring Browning in Week 10 (9.1%).
70. Rico Dowdle, RB
It took a while for Rico Dowdle to take over Dallas’ backfield, but eventually, he did. The result was a solid stat line (235 carries for 1,079 yards and two rushing touchdowns with 39 receptions for 249 yards and three receiving touchdowns). Dowdle showed that he can maintain his efficiency on the ground (4.6 yards per carry) functioning as a team’s lead back.
Dowdle will likely find himself as the change-of-pace back in his next landing spot but will have plenty of upside in 2025 since he’s shown the ability to command a backfield.
FTN Stat to Know: Dowdle was third among running backs in carries (152) and fifth in rushing yards (705) from Weeks 11 to 18 in 2025.
71. Will Hernandez, OG
Will Hernandez came to Arizona in 2022 as a highly drafted guard who struggled with consistency during his tenure with the New York Giants. Hernandez will be leaving as a more well-rounded player who became an above-average pass blocker on the interior.
Hernandez allowed just seven sacks and 53 pressures on 1,399 pass protection snaps. He will be turning 30 and is coming off a season shortened by a knee injury, but he can still be a dependable guard going forward.
FTN Stat to Know: Arizona was fifth in rushing EPA in 2024 (16.76).
72. D.J. Jones, DT
D.J. Jones has been a consistent force on the interior of Denver’s defensive line for the past three seasons. Jones has never played more than 568 snaps in a season but has still ripped off five straight seasons with at least 13 pressures. He’s also had at least 2.0 sacks in five of the last six seasons.
Jones will need to be a rotational piece wherever he lands but still can collapse the pocket on the interior while playing anywhere between the B-gaps.
FTN Stat to Know: Denver was second in pressure rate in 2024 (35.5%).
73. Tyrel Dodson, LB
Tyrel Dodson was able to continue his upward trajectory in 2024, playing with both the Seahawks and Dolphins after leaving Buffalo in free agency. Dodson set career-highs in tackles (107), passes defended (6) and interceptions (3) while posting his second straight season with 2.0+ sacks. Dodson is just 26 years old and has shown the ability to be a three-down off-ball linebacker due to his strength in coverage.
FTN Stat to Know: Opposing offenses averaged the sixth-lowest yards per completion when Miami was in zone coverage (5.6).
74. Aaron Banks, OG
Aaron Banks was a three-year starter at left guard for the 49ers, giving up just two sacks and 73 pressures on 1,471 pass protection snaps. He’s proven to be a league-average guard who is capable of stretches of above-average play. The 27-year-old should be especially appealing to teams who run zone-blocking schemes.
FTN Stat to Know: San Francisco ran outside zone at the third-highest rate in the NFL in 2024 (34.6%).
75. Javonte Williams, RB
Javonte Williams hasn’t been the same since tearing his ACL in 2022. Williams, who was once one of the most efficient backs in the NFL, had just 139 carries for 513 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in 2024. Thankfully, he was able to establish a clear role as Denver’s pass-catching back (52 receptions for 346 yards).
Williams will turn 25 before the 2025 NFL season and could be a part of a committee backfield. He will still be appealing to teams even though he’s struggled with efficiency since his knee injury.
FTN Stat to Know: Williams had the 11th-worst EPA among running backs in 2024 (-24.29).
