The rookie back rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown on 13 attempts on the ground. Irving continues to play well and has been rewarded with more snaps in the backfield. However, Irving is still stuck in a committee with Rachaad White and Sean Tucker, so his fantasy value is limited. Irving does get a plus matchup against the New York Giants this weekend. There are a handful of teams on bye weeks, which could put Irving in the RB2 conversation for this weekend.

In fact, White has five receptions or more with 35-plus receiving in three of his last four games. The biggest problem for White has been in the rushing game. White has been held to 40 rushing yards or less in all of his last four games. The Bucs continue to use a committee approach at running back which limits the value of White. It's worth noting that wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is set to return this weekend. His return could mean less targets for White in the passing game. Fantasy managers should treat White as a low-end RB2 for Week 12.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was held in check by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. The 29-year-old was off last week with the organization on a bye week. Now, Mayfield is set to bounce back against the New York Giants in Week 12. Mayfield has looked like one of the best quarterbacks all season long with 24 touchdowns and over 2,500 passing yards through 10 games. The loss of Chris Godwin (ankle) does hurt this offense, but Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to return this weekend. The return of Evans would be a significant boost for this offense. Fantasy managers should feel fine plugging Mayfield in as a QB1 for this weekend.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) was listed as limited in practice on Friday and has been given a questionable tag for the Week 12 game on Sunday against the New York Giants. Evans, who has missed the last three games with a right-hamstring injury, was also limited in practice on Wednesday but was able to put in a full session on Thursday. The full expectation is that the 31-year-old veteran will play this weekend, with head coach Todd Bowles saying Evans will play "as long as he's healthy and fresh." The future Hall of Famer should be returned to starting fantasy lineups everywhere if he's active, but he'll also have more bust potential against the G-Men if he doesn't see his usual workload as Tampa's WR1. The Giants defense hasn't been the greatest matchup for opposing pass-catchers, but they have allowed 10 TDs to the position through 10 games in 2024.

It sounds like the future Hall of Famer could have his reps capped somewhat, depending on how he's feeling during the game, but fantasy managers will want to throw him back into their lineups in all leagues. Chris Godwin (ankle) is out for the season, which means Evans could handle even more targets than he did before his injury. Before getting hurt, Evans was averaging 11.8 half-PPR fantasy points a game, ranking him 21st among all wideouts.
