It sounds like the Seattle Seahawks have decided they won’t be trading starting QB Russell Wilson after all, per reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
When did the #Seahawks firmly decide they weren’t trading Russell Wilson? Yesterday. It was up in the air until then. Only then did Dalton get signed. https://t.co/kNUtMGdnV2

Per Rapoport’s report, the Bears and Seahawks had a meeting to discuss a possible Wilson deal, and it was only when the Bears appeared convinced a trade wasn’t going to happen that they moved on to their Tuesday signing of Andy Dalton.
