Washington finished with just two catches for 15 yards and a nine-touchdown. The young receiver has been inconsistent ever since taking over at receiver for the injured Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis. He surpassed 100 yards back in Week 13 against the Houston Texans when Mac Jones first took over at QB. However, since then he has struggled to consistently produce, always outshined by the talented Brian Thomas Jr. Washington does seem like a decent red zone threat at least, scoring each of the last two weeks. Washington could turn into a decent flex option if he becomes a consistent starter in the 2025 NFL season.

With many top players resting in the season's final week, you can do much worse than Washington. Last week he up put three receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown. After Drew Lock and the Giants offense cooked the Colts in Week 17, the Jaguars offense will try to do the same in what is a meaningless game for them. Besides Brian Thomas Jr., everyone on the Jaguars offense will be trying to showcase they deserve a significant role next season. As an injury replacement who has been solid but not really a standout, this game could be important for him long term. Expect a decent performance out of Washington in Week 18.

The young receiver finished with three catches for 31 yards and a touchdown from two yards out in the second quarter. With Mac Jones under center, the offense has struggled overall, especially with Brian Thomas Jr. stealing all of the targets. Washington had just three targets in this game but made the most of them. For anyone who started Washington in fantasy championships, they got a solid outing likely meeting expectations. Washington has been solid filling in for injured receivers Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis this season. With better quarterback play, he could develop into a more consistent receiver. The Jags face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18.

The young receiver flashed back in Week 13 against the Houston Texans with a six catch, 103 yard, and a touchdown performance. Other than that, he hasn't done much this season even with injuries to Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis, and Evan Engram. Last week, Washington did put up six catches for 54 yards, but he isn't relied on enough by the already underwhelming Mac Jones. Washington seems to be competing for the second passing option behind Brian Thomas Jr. with Brenton Strange and Travis Etienne Jr. In an already limited offense, Washington lacks the consistent volume and upside to be worthy of starting in fantasy championships in Week 17.

The Penn State product totaled 54 yards for the second week in a row but doubled his reception total from their loss to the New York Jets in Week 15. Despite low catch totals in his previous two outings, the 22-year-old has been decently involved in the Jags' offense -- racking up at least six targets in three of his last four contests. Jones hasn't been a world-beater but has been competent enough to support stud rookie wideout Brian Thomas Jr. and one other pass-catcher on a weekly basis. Washington will get a far tougher ask in Week 17 against the visiting Tennessee Titans. The Titans have been a chore for opposing wideouts, allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to the position in 2024 (18.3).
