Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields scored at least 20 fantasy points in four of his first six games after returning from a hand injury, but he couldn't end the 2023 season on a high note. The former first-round pick completed 11-of-16 passes for 148 yards while rushing eight times for 27 yards in the team's 17-9 loss. This was just the third time all year in which Fields totaled less than 200 yards in a full game, despite the matchup seeming favorable before the game. With the Bears owning the Panthers' first-round pick in 2024, which will be number one overall, there are serious questions about whether the team should look to extend Fields or take Caleb Williams first overall. After a rocky start, Fields strung together some strong games and benefited from the addition of DJ Moore. Although he didn't end the 2023 season on a high note, Fields will give the Bears a tough choice this offseason.

New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (thumb) completed 23 passes for 297 yards and one touchdown while adding 38 yards on the ground. He also tossed one interception in an upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Taylor missed one series in the first quarter because of a thumb injury but was able to return and torch the Philadelphia secondary. Taylor would have likely topped the 300-yard mark for the second straight week without missed plays. The veteran took advantage of weak defenses in his starts to end the 2023 season and will likely be one of the more stable backup quarterbacks in the NFL again in 2024.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall handled a whopping 37 carries for 178 yards and a touchdown in a 17-3 win over the division-rival New England Patriots. He secured both of his targets for 12 yards and added a two-point conversion. The second-year pro was featured heavily on Sunday as both teams struggled to pass amid snowy weather conditions. Hall tallied more yards on the ground than the Jets and Patriots gained through the air combined. He also was responsible for the only touchdown of the contest, a 50-yard breakaway run late in the fourth quarter that sealed the victory. With this performance, Hall will conclude the campaign just shy of 1,000 rushing yards, but his 1,585 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns are nothing to scoff at. The 22-year-old should be considered a locked-in fantasy RB1 heading into next season.

New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (thumb) has returned to Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He had been listed as questionable after suffering an injury to the thumb on his throwing hand. The veteran signal-caller was temporarily replaced by rookie Tommy Devito but didn't miss too much time. Evidently, Taylor and the Giants' medical staff felt confident that he could return to the game without a serious risk of re-injury. It's also worth noting that DeVito was seen limping off the field, though it's unclear if his apparent lower-body injury is anything serious.

New York Giants quarterback Tyrod Taylor (thumb) exited during the first half of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles and is officially questionable to return. He was replaced by rookie Tommy Devito, who returns under center after totaling 1,087 passing yards, nine total touchdowns, and three interceptions from Weeks 8 through 16. At this point, it's too early to tell whether Taylor will be able to return, but it's worth noting that the injury was to the thumb on his throwing hand. Therefore, if he does re-enter the contest, he'll likely have to play through pain.
