Allen showed some life last week, turning 12 carries into 32 yards and a touchdown but he was right back to just a handful of carries behind Breece Hall in Thursday night's win. Allen has seen eight or fewer carries in five of his past six contests as the Jets have committed to getting the ball in Hall's hands of late. Allen remains a solid fantasy handcuff behind Hall but should not be in starting lineups in Week 10 when the Jets face off against the Arizona Cardinals on the road.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall carried the ball 15 times for 74 yards and caught two of his four targets for 11 yards in a 21-13 win over the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. Hall dominated the backfield work for the Jets in the close win as he out-touched Braelon Allen 16 to four in the contest. The veteran running back has now rushed for 502 yards while catching 35 passes for 327 yards and four all-purpose touchdowns through nine games this season. He will be an RB1 in fantasy heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest) was placed on the injured reserve according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Lazard was unable to participate in any team practices this week and was previously ruled out for Thursday. However, he will now have to sit out for at least the next four games. Lazard has been a stable contributor in the New York offense this season averaging 58.9 yards per game with a high of 114 in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills. Fantasy managers should expect Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams to see the majority of passing work going forward with Mike Williams now operating as the No.3 option.

The 28-year-old has caught a touchdown in three of his last five contests. Overall, Lazard has caught 30 of 44 targets for 412 yards and five touchdowns across seven games in 2024. Lazard's next chance to suit up will be Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals. Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams will lead the Jets wide receivers corps on Thursday, and Mike Williams is expected to see an increased role with Lazard sidelined. Despite playing 58% of the offensive snaps, Williams wasn't targeted in last Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The 30-year-old is off the fantasy radar outside deep leagues in a plus matchup against a vulnerable Texans secondary.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has notched three 100-yard receiving games over his past four contests. He will look to keep it going against the Houston Texans in Week 9's Thursday night game. Wilson has yet to feel a target squeeze with Davante Adams in town as he has 17 in the two games since the Jets added the latter in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Texans have been vulnerable against receivers this season as they are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position in 2024. Wilson sets up as a high-end WR2 heading into Week 9.
