New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (lung) didn't suit up for Sunday's meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was uncertain to play entering the contest after being hospitalized following the Week 2 meeting with the Cowboys with a chest injury. Fox's Jay Glazer shed more light on the issue, with the NFL insider reporting the 34-year-old has a bruised lung. Considering the delicate nature of this type of injury, it may take Hill a little longer to heal. With that in mind, fantasy managers will await an update ahead of the Saints' Week 4 game versus the Atlanta Falcons. In the meantime, Juwan Johnson could see a few more targets behind Foster Moreau. However, Johnson has limited value in multi-tight end setups.

The do-it-all offensive weapon will now try to work his way back for a Week 4 meeting against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons next weekend. The 34-year-old is one of the most versatile players in all of football, but he has only eight carries for 53 yards and has caught two of his three targets for two yards in two blowout victories for the Saints so far in 2024, so it's hard to really rely on him in fantasy as anything more than a boom/bust TE2 on a weekly basis. With Hill sidelined against Philly, expect more targets for Juwan Johnson.

However, Hill was a limited participant in practice the past two days, making him a likely longshot to play against the Eagles. Juwan Johnson will see an uptick in targets and snaps, with Hill likely out of the lineup.

New Orleans kicker Blake Grupe has a lot working in his favor in his first NFL season. The undrafted rookie has the benefit of playing in a dome, for starters. And with Klint Kubiak now running the offense, the team is suddenly a powerhouse in the making meaning Grupe is flush with opportunities to put points on the board. His pro debut was stellar, nailing five extra points and four field goals - two from more than 50 yards out. Last week, he banged home another field goal and hit five of his six extra point tries. The Saints get the Eagles in Week 3 in what is expected to be one of the highest-scoring games of the week. Grupe makes for a great streaming option if he isn't on your roster already.

As such, fantasy managers shouldn't expect much from Juwan Johnson on Sunday, despite Taysom Hill (chest) being listed as questionable for the game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Likewise for Foster Moreau, who is seeing a greater snap share than Johnson, albeit to serve mainly as a blocker. Johnson did score a touchdown in Week 1 but didn't see a target at all in the Saints' Week 2 blowout of the Dallas Cowboys. Even though the matchup is expected to be a high-scoring affair, Johnson's utilization is too uncertain to make him startable in Week 3.
