New Orleans Saints tight ends Juwan Johnson (foot) and Foster Moreau (shoulder) were listed on the Week 14 injury report after both were limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. The statuses of both Johnson and Moreau become more important for the final five games of the regular season after No. 1 TE Taysom Hill suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. In last Sunday's loss to LA, Johnson caught a season-high-tying five passes on a season-high seven targets for 36 yards after reaching the end zone for the second time this year in the previous game against the Cleveland Browns. Both Johnson and Moreau should be available this weekend against the New York Giants, but Johnson will be the TE to target in New Orleans as a touchdown-dependent streamer with six teams on bye in Week 14.

The New Orleans Saints opened running back Kendre Miller's (hamstring) 21-day practice window on Wednesday to return from Injured Reserve, and he was able to put in a full practice. Miller injured his hamstring in the Week 8 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and has missed the required four games on IR. The 22-year-old second-year back out of TCU will be eligible to return this weekend to face the New York Giants in Week 14, but it doesn't mean the Saints will rush him back. The Saints could use Miller back after just losing tight end Taysom Hill (knee) for the year. However, when Miller does return, he's likely to be eased in as the team's RB3 behind Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams. He's been a bust since being taken in the third round in 2023, playing in just 10 total games (two this year), averaging 4.2 yards per carry. Miller is rostered in only 3% of Yahoo leagues currently.

According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas News, Dallas Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) and Brandin Cooks (knee) were not seen at practice on Wednesday. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to their initial status on the practice report on Thursday, as the Cowboys do not play until Monday evening. Lamb aggravated a previous shoulder injury during their Week 13 victory over the New York Giants, while Cooks returned from his seven-game absence this past weekend. Fantasy managers should not be overly concerned if both wideouts remain limited participants during the initial practice sessions of the week. Lamb should be viewed as a top-12 option on Monday evening, and Cooks as a lower-end flex facing a weak Cincinnati secondary.

The Athletic's Saad Yousuf does not believe that veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks will return to the team in 2025. Cooks is a strong presence in the locker room, but his production the last two seasons has fallen short of expectations as the No. 2 behind CeeDee Lamb. If the Cowboys also feel the same way about Cooks' future, they could give more playing time to rookie Ryan Flournoy and recent acquisition Jonathan Mingo for the rest of the season. Dallas sent a fourth-round draft pick to the Carolina Panthers for Mingo and might want to get a head start on evaluating him for their 2025 roster. The 31-year-old Cooks has six 1,000-yard seasons in his 11 NFL seasons, but he's slowed down the last two years in Dallas and has also played in only five games in 2024 due to injury. If the Cowboys move on from Cooks after this year, they could look to replace him with another veteran pass-catcher.

Tests on Monday confirmed that New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (knee) suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, according to a source. Hill suffered the devastating knee injury in the second half against LA and had to be carted off the field and into the locker room. Before going down, the 34-year-old veteran carried the ball five times for 10 yards and caught five of his seven targets for 37 yards through the air. The loss of Hill, the Saints' most multi-faceted weapon on offense by far, is a major blow for the offense down the stretch. Obviously, he can be dumped in single-year fantasy leagues. With Hill out the rest of the way, running backs Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams will most likely see more targets. Tight end Juwan Johnson, who had a season-high-tying five catches on Sunday, should also see more looks through the air.UPDATE: Hill suffered a torn ACL and additional damage to his knee.
