Tua Tagovailoa Looks To Take Advantage Of Favorable Matchup In Week 11

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has an excellent matchup in a Week 11 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. Last week's performance against the Los Angeles Rams left fantasy managers much to be desired. Since returning from a concussion in Week 8, Miami has averaged 25.6 points per game. The Raiders defense allows the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks and ranks 26th in pressure rate. This should lead to many clean pockets and time to throw for Tagovailoa. Just in their last two games, Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes have thrown seven touchdowns against them. Las Vegas will also be without their top cornerback, Nate Hobbs (ankle), which could spell big trouble for their secondary. He's a solid start in any format and comes in at No. 13 on this week's RotoBaller QB rankings.

Alexander Mattison A Sneaky Flex Play In Week 11

Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison could be a nice RB3/FLEX play in Week 11, when his team will take on the Miami Dolphins. He's set to be the starting RB for his team for the fourth time in a game with his now-backup Zamir White, after taking over the starting job due to White's poor performances. Mattison has nice pass-catching upside and four scores on the season, meaning in deeper PPR leagues, he's a solid flex player. His usage will likely come down to game script, but there's enough upside to chase in leagues with lots of teams, where finding any edge possible is a necessity. He's averaging just under 3.3 yards per carry on the season, though, so in non-PPR leagues, he's better off as a bench stash.

Alec Ingold Questionable Ahead Of Week 11

Miami Dolphins running back Alec Ingold (calf) has been deemed questionable for Sunday's home tilt against the Las Vegas Raiders. The sixth-year back sustained a calf injury ahead of Miami's Week 9 30-27 loss to the Buffalo Bills and has yet to log a full practice, recording eight straight limited sessions since. Ingold would eventually sit out last weekend, but it appears he might give it another go despite the nagging ailment. With no other active fullbacks on the roster, the Dolphins may expand their usage of two-tight end sets to compensate for the 28-year-old's absence. Ingold has totaled 13 yards and a touchdown on his nine carries in 2024, adding 60 yards through the air on 7-of-8 receiving.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Only A Deep-League Flex Option Vs. Vikings

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine will face the Vikings in Week 11 NFL action this Sunday. The career Titan has really stepped up as the second wide-receiver on this team when DeAndre Hopkins left, leading the team in receiving touchdowns with four. Calvin Ridley is still far and away the top option in the passing game for whoever is quarterbacking the Titans, but Westbrook-Ikine has been a sneaky reliable play for the most part since Week 7, finishing as a top-36 fantasy WR three times. The Vikings have not been great at stopping opposing wideouts, as they currently rank 30th against the position, but quarterback Will Levis will likely be under heavy pressure all game which does not bode well for his #2 receiver. The Indiana product is only a flex option in deeper formats for Week 11.

Tyreek Hill Returns To Practice

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) was spotted at the team's practice on Thursday after he was a non-participant in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Hill was most likely limited on Thursday, but the fact that he was back at practice at all is a good sign that he'll be ready to go for the Week 11 game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Hard Rock Stadium. The 30-year-old is reportedly dealing with a torn tendon in his left wrist, but he hasn't missed any time because of it, and the Dolphins don't believe the injury is affecting his performance. The Cheetah's numbers have improved since quarterback Tua Tagovailoa returned from his concussion three weeks ago, and although Hill probably isn't 100%, he still has WR1 upside as long as he's active. Hill will be facing a Raiders defense that has been surprisingly stingy against opposing pass-catchers in 2024.UPDATE: Hill was limited in Thursday's practice.
