Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer (personal) was placed on the reserve/Non-Football Injury and Illness list, according to Field Yates of ESPN. Mayer has not suited up since Week 3 due to a personal matter and is now expected to miss more time. The Notre Dame product enjoyed a productive rookie campaign, as he caught 27 passes for 304 yards and two scores. While Mayer remains away from the team, fantasy managers should expect rookie Brock Bowers to continue to see the vast majority of snaps at the position, and remains a high-end option for the foreseeable future.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith had a rough outing on Thursday against the San Francisco 49ers. Smith threw for 312 yards and continued his 2024 trend of throwing for exactly one touchdown. However, he threw two costly interceptions as the Seahawks were unable to keep pace with a 49ers team that was opportunistic on turnovers throughout the game. The outing was disappointing for Smith as he was coming off two straight games with at least 22.56 fantasy points. However, Smith has now thrown for at least 312 yards in three of six games in 2024. At some point, the touchdown numbers should increase. Unfortunately, the Seahawks find themselves in a rut as they have lost three straight games. Smith often plays better when the Seahawks can play with a lead, which has not been the case lately. Hopefully, Smith can get back on track in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (groin) did not participate in practice on Thursday, his fourth DNP in a row since last week. He wasn't able to suit up for their last game against the Denver Broncos after picking up a groin injury during practice last week. Now, it seems he's on his way to miss another game. White hasn't been able to find a rhythm as the lead back this season, and Alexander Mattison earned more carries even when White was playing. Since the Raiders haven't played with a lead very often, the backfield has suffered on top of that. If White still can't get on the field this week, Ameer Abdullah will slot in as the backup to Mattison again.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receivers Davante Adams (hamstring) and Jakobi Meyers (ankle) both registered DNPs for Thursday's injury report. Reports last week suggested that Adams would be healthy by this week, but as the week has progressed, he's increasingly been unlikely to play in Week 6's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is all while the team is looking for trade partners for the superstar receiver even though the trade market looks like it's going cold due to their asking price. Meyers, on the other hand, reportedly "seemed fine" and missing practice was more to make sure he's healthy by game time. Fantasy managers should still monitor his status leading up to the mid-afternoon kickoff on Sunday.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (groin) was again a non-participant at practice on Wednesday. White has yet to log even a limited session after picking up a groin injury in practice a week ago. Las Vegas was down a few notable offensive players today, with wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) popping up as a DNP, too. The 25-year-old has begun the year on the wrong foot despite being given the opportunity to lead this backfield on the ground. Head coach Antonio Pierce had already been on record last week stating that Alexander Mattison had earned more work, and he will likely garner most of the backfield touches for the second week in a row if White can't play. Running back Ameer Abdullah mixed in for five carries and 42 yards -- including a score and a long gain of 40 yards -- while adding nine yards and three catches on three targets and projects to mix in behind Mattison yet again. The team will face off against a stout Pittsburgh Steelers defense in Week 6.
