Dylan Laube Could Have Big Role In Week 12

Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Dylan Laube has been a healthy scratch since losing a fumble in the Oct. 13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he could be a big part of the game plan in Week 12 against the division-rival Denver Broncos on Sunday with both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) in danger of being held out due to injuries sustained in the Week 11 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Along with Laube, Ameer Abdullah would also have a bigger role in the backfield if both Mattison and White are inactive. The 24-year-old fumbled on the first rushing attempt of his career, and he hasn't gotten another chance since then. We wouldn't recommend Laube for starting fantasy lineups if both Mattison and White are out, as the Raiders rank dead last in rushing yards per game (75.2), while the Broncos have allowed only 98.6 rushing yards per game (sixth-fewest in the NFL).

Raheem Mostert Logs Full Practice On Wednesday

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (hip) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice, according to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post. The veteran running back sustained this injury during last weekend's victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. This is a great sign to see him participate in a full practice session early in the week, which suggests this injury was fairly minor. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status during the week if he faces a setback. Over the past two weeks, Mostert has slowly begun to lose work to rookie Jaylen Wright. For now, Mostert should only be viewed as a low-end flex option/RB3 in deeper 14+ team formats until he begins to see an increase in workload.

Alexander Mattison, Zamir White Not Practicing On Wednesday

Las Vegas Raiders running backs Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) will not practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Antonio Pierce. Both running backs were injured in the Week 11 loss to the Miami Dolphins last Sunday and are now in danger of missing the divisional clash this Sunday against the visiting Denver Broncos. They still have two more days to get back on the practice field, but this situation is worth watching and will make Ameer Abdullah worth a deep-league waiver-wire pickup if you are in dire straights at the RB position with six teams on bye in Week 12. Due to the struggles of White in 2024, Mattison has become Vegas' lead back. The 26-year-old had five carries for 19 yards and caught all three of his targets for 50 yards against Miami before his injury. Whoever is the "starter" for Vegas this weekend will have limited fantasy upside against a stout defense.

Raheem Mostert Invisible In Week 11 Win Over Raiders

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert carried the ball three times for a loss of two yards in Sunday's 34-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. In the wake of Mostert's fumble troubles, it's looking increasingly like head coach Mike McDaniels favors turning to youngster Jaylen Wright behind De'Von Achane for the RB2 role. In recent weeks, Wright has seen a slight uptick in involvement, outpacing Mostert in carries four to three on Sunday. He went from a combined 30 carries in Weeks 7-9 to three in the last two weeks. Although there are still some opportunities to escape the doghouse, Miami has little margin for error in a tight battle for a playoff spot. The next matchup is at home against the struggling New England Patriots.

Tre Tucker Catches Just Three Passes in Week 11 Loss

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker still hasn't found the stride he had for a two-game stretch earlier in the season. He caught three of his four targets for 28 yards and ran the ball one time for seven yards. He hasn't been a big factor in the offense yet, and he's clearly taken a back seat to fellow WR Jakobi Meyers and tight end Brock Bowers. He'll likely stick in his role as third fiddle on this offense. Despite being a speedster, he simply hasn't been putting himself in position to make many impactful plays for Las Vegas. Week 12 won't present any easier opportunities for him to achieve this, as he'll face the rival Denver Broncos, who are coming off a blowout win against the Atlanta Falcons. Denver limited a much better offense to just six points in Week 11.
