The 28-year-old Booker spent last year with Las Vegas after spending his first four years with the Broncos. His career high in production came in his rookie year in 2016, when Booker had 777 scrimmage yards and 5 touchdowns. He had 507 yards last year with the Raiders.
Giants add backfield help, sign Devontae Booker
Fantasy slant: The Giants were destined to sign a free agent running back or select one in the NFL Draft's middle rounds, with Wayne Gallman, Dion Lewis and Alfred Morris all free agents. The team had only Elijhaa Penny, Taquan Mizzell and Jordan Chunn on the roster behind Saquon Barkley. Provided Barkley is ready to roll Week 1, there's not much to see here for Booker. Despite Gallman's fantasy relevance last season, the Giants still ranked 26th in rushing attempts. If Barkley is healthy, Booker won't garner the volume even to have flex appeal this season. — Derek Brown
