Training camps provide our first look into NFL players and teams as we prepare for the upcoming fantasy football season. Information will now begin to flood our social media timelines, leaving us to determine the subsequent fantasy impact. It’s a matter of knowing which information matters, and which should be ignored.

So each day in this space, we’ll take a trip through the top news and takeaways around the league’s training camps to offer up what fantasy managers need to know as we head through draft season and into the 2023 NFL regular season.

Let’s take a look around at our training camp roundup from Tuesday.

Richie James Late-Round WR Target?

Kansas City has suffered key injuries to wideouts, with Kadarius Toney working back from a cleanup procedure in his knee, and Justyn Ross getting carted off the field Tuesday. Don’t forget about the explosive Richie James, who could be on the verge of a huge workload early in the season.

James currently has an Underdog ADP of 198.9, going as WR85.

J.K. Dobbins is Back

Baltimore running back J.K. Dobbins experienced his first practice of the preseason with the Ravens Tuesday.

There was speculation that his absence was related to his contract demands, not a lingering knee issue. Regardless, it was great to see Dobbins back on field for a Ravens offense with high expectations this season.

Rookie QBs Getting Their Chance

It appears the rookie quarterbacks will be given a chance to prove themselves immediately in Week 1.

Anthony Richardson was named the Colts starter by head coach Shane Steichen Tuesday. One of the best quarterback draft classes we’ve ever seen is being reinforced by the trust from their respective franchises.
