CeeDee Lamb Gets 10 Targets In Week 1 Win

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb led the team in targets, catches, and yards in a Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns. Lamb missed the entire preseason while holding out for a contract extension, and at points it was unclear if he'd even play in Week 1. He did, of course, and saw 10 targets, making five catches for 61 yards. Lamb was the top overall fantasy pass catcher last season and has a good chance to do it again this season. He'll only heat up more and once he gets more up to speed he should distance himself from the rest of the Cowboys pass catchers. He'll be a weekly WR1 regardless of matchups.

Dak Prescott Mostly Game Manages To A Week 1 Win

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott led his team to a Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns. Prescott attempted 32 passes, completing 19 of them for 179 yards and a touchdown. He took three sacks, losing 16 yards and adding three back on one carry. He fumbled, but it was recovered by Dallas. The Cowboys defense and special teams were on fire in this one, leaving Prescott to not have to do too much. His touchdown pass went to Brandin Cooks on a 21-yard pass in the first quarter. The Cowboys will go home to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Jake Ferguson Exits Sunday's Game Against Cleveland, Questionable To Return

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson (knee) exited Sunday's matchup with the Cleveland Browns and was deemed questionable to return. If Ferguson doesn't make it back in Week 1, he'll finish the day by catching three balls for 15 yards. With that said, there should be an update on his left knee soon, although further testing is likely on the horizon. Dallas has been up big for most of this game and haven't really need to go to the air often. If Ferguson needs to miss time beyond Week 1, Luke Schoonmaker would likely step in as the team's TE1.

CeeDee Lamb Gained Weight, Muscle During Offseason

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb gained an extra 10 to 12 points during the offseason. He "looks jacked and [is] in really good shape," according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Fresh off his contract extension, Lamb is active for Week 1 and expected to have a full workload. He'll continue to catch passes from Dak Prescott, who was also rewarded with a lucrative new deal on Sunday morning. Even against a solid Browns defense, Lamb remains a high-end WR1 for fantasy purposes.

Cowboys, Dak Prescott Finalizing Four-Year Extension

The Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott are finalizing a four-year, $240 million extension with $231 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The deal comes less than five hours before Dallas opens its season on the road against the Cleveland Browns. Prescott led the Cowboys to a 12-5 record last year, completing 69.5 percent of his passes for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He has continued to support major production from his wide receiver group, headlined by CeeDee Lamb. Lamb inked an extension last week, so Dallas has officially locked up its star receiver-quarterback duo through 2028. Lamb remains a high-end WR1 in fantasy football while Prescott is a mid-to-low QB1.
