Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle (knee) will be facing a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense on Sunday Night Football in Week 16 that has allowed the fewest half-PPR points to opposing RBs in the last five weeks, which includes just one rushing touchdown given up. However, because of the high volume that Dowdle has been seeing of late as Dallas' clear-cut No. 1 RB, he'll carry high-end RB2 value for fantasy managers still alive in the playoffs. The 26-year-old is coming off a a career-best 149 rushing yards on 25 carries in last week's win over the Carolina Panthers after setting a previous career-best with 131 rushing yards the week prior. In the last four games, Dowdle has really been eating, seeing at least 18 carries per game and averaging 5.69 yards per attempt with a touchdown. Fantasy managers may not want to expect another career performance on Sunday night, but Dowdle is certainly trending up.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) has continued to be a major contributor in fantasy football despite losing his quarterback, Dak Prescott (hamstring), in the middle of the season. Lamb has looked solid in six full games with Cooper Rush under center, as the two have connected for 41 completions, 429 yards, and two touchdowns. He ranks as the overall WR11 during that six-game span and he has found the end zone in each of his last two contests. In Week 16, Lamb will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whose defensive secondary has been suspect at times in 2024. The Buccaneers have allowed the 13th-fewest fantasy points to slot receivers, as well as the 13th-most fantasy points to receivers who operate out wide. Lamb has played 368 snaps (46.6 percent) from the slot this season, which is the seventh-most in the NFL. Still, he should be able to feast against the Buccaneers, who allowed Los Angeles Chargers slot receiver Ladd McConkey to put up five catches, 58 yards, and one touchdown against them in Week 15. For fantasy purposes, Lamb continues to rank as an intriguing fantasy playmaker in the mid- to low-WR1 range this Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) upgraded to a full practice participant on Thursday after he was listed as limited on Wednesday. Lamb suffered an AC joint sprain in his shoulder all the way back in Week 9 but has played through it and hasn't missed any time. He'll be ready to roll on Sunday night in Week 16 when the team hosts the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) being out for the year, Lamb has remained a must-start in fantasy lineups while working with backup Cooper Rush. The Buccaneers defense has been better of late, but on the season as a whole, they've been a good matchup for receivers in fantasy. Lamb had his second 100-yard game of the year in the Week 15 win over the Carolina Panthers and has scored in back-to-back weeks. He's seen double-digit targets in seven of the last nine games. Start Lamb against the Bucs.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) continues to battle through a shoulder injury and was limited in Wednesday's practice session. Lamb suffered an AC joint sprain in his shoulder back in Week 9 and has been managing the issue ever since, although he has not missed any time because of it. The 25-year-old's fantasy stock took a hit when quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) was lost for the year, but he's still been playable on a weekly basis in fantasy lineups. Since injuring his shoulder, Lamb also has 41 receptions on 60 targets for 429 receiving yards and two touchdowns. It speaks to Lamb's abilities on the football field that he remains a must-start wideout with WR1 upside in fantasy with Cooper Rush under center. Lamb should play on Sunday night and will have considerable upside against a vulnerable Bucs secondary.

Dallas Cowboys second-year wide receiver Jalen Brooks hauled in the first touchdown of his career late in the Week 15 win over Carolina. The South Carolina product has seldom been used over the majority of his first two seasons, but he has made noise in the preseason and looked good on the 17-yard touchdown connection with Cooper Rush. He is not on the fantasy radar, but will be worth monitoring for deep dynasty leagues in the event that he earns more of a role going forward.
