The Buffalo Bills elevated wide receiver K.J. Hamler to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts. Keon Coleman (wrist) was already ruled out days ago. However, with Amari Cooper (wrist) questionable, the Bills likely made the move for insurance purposes. But even if Cooper isn't on the field in Week 10, Josh Allen will presumably turn to Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, Mack Hollins, and Curtis Samuel to pick up the slack, leaving little room for Hamler to get involved.

Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis has established himself as one of the best insurance running backs in fantasy football entering Week 10. Despite averaging just six touches per game since his Week 6 explosion, the rookie has scored in two of the last three contests. The Buffalo backfield still belongs to James Cook. Davis would be the most valuable waiver-wire addition if anything happens to Cook. Savvy fantasy managers can get ahead by adding Davis to benches now. Desperate fantasy managers hope Davis (a low-end RB3) can continue his efficient play in limited opportunities against a leaky Indianapolis run defense.

Despite his appearance on the injury report, Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) is one of the team's healthy receiving options entering Week 10. He's practiced in full every day this week and has no injury designation this weekend. The same can't be said for Amari Cooper (wrist), Keon Coleman (wrist), and Curtis Samuel (pectoral). Coleman has been ruled out, while the other two are questionable. Kincaid saw a season-high in targets (10) with Cooper out of the lineup last week and could also see more usage against the Colts. Unfortunately, he's securing under 60% of targets thrown in his direction. With an easier matchup (Indianapolis allows the third-most fantasy points to tight ends), Kincaid may convert more opportunities. He's a low-end TE1 this week.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir has scored at least 10 PPR fantasy points in all but one game this season, which happened to be his first game back from an ankle injury. Shakir's role is safe, regardless of the situation around him. He commands the slot role on the Buffalo offense and he's only missed three targets this season. Shakir's utilization mixes well with the defense that Indianapolis tends to run. He could also see increased target volume if Amari Cooper (wrist) can't play on Sunday. Keon Coleman (wrist) has already been ruled out. Shakir is a safe WR3/flex for Week 10.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook has underwhelming rushing totals (12 and 10 carries) in two of his last three games. However, he is seeing an uptick in his passing game involvement. The Bills have transitioned from a run-heavy approach to a pass-happy offense. Cook has logged eight catches in his last two games. He had 11 catches in the six prior contests. If wide receivers Amari Cooper (questionable, wrist) and Keon Coleman (out, wrist) can't play on Sunday, Cook could see his number called more, both on the ground and through the air. Cook is a high-end RB1 in the rankings against the bottom-dweller Indianapolis rush defense.
