The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in full run-it-back mode this offseason. The latest piece of that is the return of postseason hero RB Leonard Fournette, re-signed to a one-year deal Friday, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
For the #Bucs and RB Leonard Fournette, it’s a 1-year deal worth up to $4M, source said. Whole band is back https://t.co/Jdw5Uvg49v

26-year-old Fournette landed in Tampa last offseason after being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had 600 scrimmage yards and 6 touchdowns in 12 games in the regular season, then erupted for 448 and 4 in four postseason games.
Buccaneers continue keeping their own, re-sign Leonard Fournette
Fantasy slant: Lombardi Lenny is back in Tampa Bay. Fournette looks to reprise his role as the Buccaneers’ do-it-all back in 2021. During the playoffs, he was everything Tom Brady and company could have hoped for. Fournette averaged 20.5 touches per game, playing 69-85% of the snaps. He was a true three-down workhorse, running a route on 70.8% of Brady’s dropbacks and garnering a 15.2% target share. Ronald Jones will remain involved in this backfield, but Fournette is the back to roster here. His ADP is likely to climb, but he’s an amazing value at RB32 (89.2 overall) in Underdog Fantasy best ball drafts right now. — Derek Brown
