Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon (foot) will miss a ninth consecutive game on Tuesday against the Lakers. The veteran guard has made only three appearances since the turn of the year, and it's unclear when we will see him back on the court. With Brogdon out, rookies Carlton Carrington and Kyshawn George feature prominently in the rotation. However, both players offer inconsistent production due to their lack of experience. Corey Kispert also has a chance to log more minutes, and he will look to register his fourth straight game with 10-plus points.

As expected, Middleton will play after being listed as probable coming into this contest. However, Middleton has lost his gig in the starting five which could mean slightly less playing time. Fantasy managers who have Middleton rostered can get him in their lineups ahead of tip-off.

The 33-year-old veteran forward has played 16 games so far this season since making his debut on Dec. 6 after having offseason surgery on both ankles. In his last outing, he collected 14 points, two rebounds, six assists, and two steals coming off the bench against the Magic on Wednesday.

Middleton is a solid fantasy asset in category leagues as long as there's an IR spot available for his off days. Gary Trent Jr. (hip) is also considered probable, so he might not see as much usage in this contest.
