He has shaken off a quadriceps injury and also looks to have recovered from a mouth trauma, which limited Middleton to only 13 minutes on Sunday against the Knicks. The three-time All-Star has averaged 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in three priors meetings with Boston this season.

Nonetheless, the 32-year-old scored at least 21 points in two of his last three appearances. But if Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) is ruled out, Middleton's ceiling could increase significantly.

The Bucks star took an inadvertent hit to the mouth area from New York's Donte DiVincenzo in the second quarter. Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said postgame that Middleton got a tooth knocked out in the incident. While this wasn't a serious trauma, fantasy managers will still need to monitor Middleton's status closely ahead of Tuesday's matchup against Boston. Bobby Portis would be a guy to target if Middleton can't play, with Jae Crowder his likeliest replacement in the starting unit.

Washington Wizards center Richaun Holmes (toe) is questionable for Friday's matchup with Portland. He's already missed four games because of a toe injury, and things aren't looking promising regarding his availability against the Blazers. With Marvin Bagley III (knee) out, Tristan Vukcevic, averaging 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in the last two games, would warrant DFS consideration if Holmes remains sidelined.

After falling to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, the Bucks will manage the left ankle of Middleton on the second night of their back-to-back. The veteran forward should be good to go for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Jae Crowder figures to enter the starting five in Middleton's absence, but he's only averaged 5.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.0 threes in 23 games as a starter in 2023-24. Fantasy managers can do better on Wednesday's nine-game slate, but Memphis is giving up the second-most treys to opposing small forwards (3.1).
