The 33-year-old averaged 15.1 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.7 rebounds last season. He also shot 38.1% from deep, his highest since 2020-21. However, after Middleton appeared in only 33 games in 2022-23, he appeared in 55 last season and underwent surgeries on both ankles over the summer. That said, the 2012 No. 39 overall pick needs to stay healthy for the Bucks to consider themselves a championship-caliber club. He'll also need to find out how to avoid the injury report. Until then, Middleton will remain a risky fantasy option no matter what round he's drafted heading into the year.

Washington Wizards center Richaun Holmes declined his $12.8 million player option. However, he has agreed to a new two-year, $25.9 million contract to remain with the Wizards. The 30-year-old averaged double-digit scoring in three of his four seasons with the Sacramento Kings. Since then, he struggled to find a meaningful role in Dallas and Washington. Although Holmes adds depth to a rebuilding team, he will likely have issues getting on the floor moving ahead, which won't improve his fantasy value for the 2024-25 campaign.

The Atlanta Hawks declined to extend a qualifying offer to forward Saddiq Bey, making him an unrestricted free agent. The former Villanova Wildcat averaged 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 2023-24. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL, limiting him to 63 games. Without a doubt, Bey will draw interest from teams around the National Basketball Association, especially from teams with cap space. While his fantasy outlook hinges on where he'll end up for the 2024-25 campaign, he should remain a relatively reliable producer for managers as long as he stays healthy.

Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon might not remain on the team for long. After he was acquired from the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported that Brogdon could be moved elsewhere in a trade. Washington has fully entered a rebuilding mode, and it doesn't make sense for them to keep ahold of a 31-year-old veteran. Especially someone like Brogdon, who should have decent trade value as a recent Sixth Man of the Year award winner. The Virginia product seems to be on the move every summer these days. But he could still be useful to several teams with career averages of 15.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.

The 2023 NBA Sixth Man of the Year averaged 15.7 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.8 rebounds with the Trail Blazers last season. He also shot 41.2% from behind the arc. However, due to injury, Brogdon was limited to only 39 games in Portland. Nagging ailments have been the norm for him throughout his career. Although the 31-year-old can play at an All-Star level, fantasy managers will look in other directions until he proves he can stay healthy.
