San Antonio Spurs guard Keldon Johnson (foot) says that he is healthy and in shape heading into the start of next season. Johnson missed the final four games of the regular season in 2023 due to a foot sprain. The 24-year-old is heading into his sixth season and is now considered a veteran on this rebuilding roster. Johnson saw a regression in some stats last season, but still remains a reliable contributor on this roster. The Spurs added Harrison Barnes via trade this offseason, so Johnson will likely head to a bench role to start the season. Despite that, Johnson should still have a significant role as he averaged nearly 30 minutes per game over the course of his career. Fantasy managers should consider Johnson healthy as he looks ready to contribute at the beginning of the season.
San Antonio Spurs small forward Keldon Johnson could be traded this summer as the Spurs are willing to hear offers involving the 24-year-old, according to Clutch Sports NBA reporter Brett Siegel. This past regular season, the Kentucky Wildcat averaged 29.5 minutes, 15.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 0.7 steals across 69 contests. Johnson would be an excellent option coming off the bench for a contending team.
San Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson (foot) will not play in Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. This will be the third straight game he has missed because of a sprained left foot. The 24-year-old has only played in one of the last six games for the Spurs as San Antonio sits at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Johnson will only have one more chance to return to the court, which will be on Sunday versus the Detroit Pistons. In his absence, Julian Champagnie, Sidy Cissoko, and Blake Wesley are players who could see bigger roles as the regular season winds down.
San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Keldon Johnson (foot) will once again come out of the lineup on Tuesday against Memphis. He returned from a three-game absence against Philadelphia on Sunday but injured his left foot in the contest. With Cedi Osman (ankle) also unavailable, Sandro Mamukelashvili could find himself back with the starters. He had his first start of the season against New Orleans last week and played well. Across 27 minutes, Mamukelashvili notched 15 points, five rebounds, two steals, a steal, and a block in a fairly difficult matchup.
San Antonio Spurs forward Keldon Johnson (foot) is good to go for Sunday's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers. He was listed as questionable heading into this one because of a foot injury. However, he'll be on the floor. With the Spurs missing several prominent offensive options, Johnson and Victor Wembanyama should consume most of the scoring chances, making them ideal DFS options.
