Sacramento Kings star guard De'Aaron Fox (hand) is dealing with a ligament issue in his left pinky on his shooting hand, but he intends to play through it. The speedy guard dislocated the finger during training camp, though X-rays were negative. The injury hasn't impacted his scoring efficiency, as he's shooting a solid 47.7 percent from the field across six games this season. So far, he's averaging 23.5 points, 5.7 assists, and 2.5 steals per game and continues to make a strong impact on both ends of the floor.
Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox isn't expected to ink an extension with the team this year. According to The Athletic, the 2023 All-Star wants to see how the roster takes shape for the long haul before committing himself to the Kings. There is also the added incentive of earning a bigger deal if Fox makes an All-NBA team. His current $163 million contract has two more years left to run. Fox has taken big strides as a player in recent seasons, with the Kings' playing style suiting him like a glove. The 26-year-old averaged career-highs in points (26.6), rebounds (4.6), and steals (2.0) in 2023-24, leading the league in the latter category.
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns. Fox appears to be fine after suffering a right ankle sprain during Thursday's game. Fox said afterwards that he was fine, so it appears that he was right. Fantasy managers should expect Fox to carry his normal workload ahead of Friday's game.
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (knee) will play against the Chicago Bulls on Monday. The star guard will make his return to the court after missing each of the last two games due to a left knee contusion. Fox was able to practice on Sunday without issues, so he should be fully cleared for this game. His return means that Keon Ellis and Davion Mitchell will have decreased roles in the rotation. Both players will be difficult to trust, but Fox can be plugged back into fantasy lineups.
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (knee) was a full participant during Sunday's practice session. Fox has missed two straight games and is currently considered questionable for Monday's game versus the Chicago Bulls. Davion Mitchell and Keon Ellis each started a game in the absence of Fox. Mitchell did little with his opportunity, but Ellis made the most of it with four steals and seven assists. That being said, Ellis appears to be the better streaming choice between the two if Fox is forced to miss this game.
