Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee, injury management) won't play on Wednesday against Miami. The 2023 NBA MVP was sidelined for a month before returning for Tuesday's 118-116 win over the Dallas Mavericks. He played extremely well, amassing a 29-point, 11-rebound, 10 assist triple-double. Barring a setback, Embiid should be back on the floor on Friday versus the Detroit Pistons. But with Andre Drummond (toe) uncertain to suit up on Wednesday, Guerschon Yabusele, averaging 11.8 points and 6.6 rebounds in 25 starts this season, will fill the spot in the rotation. Tyrese Maxey could also see a surge in production, especially with Paul George (finger) not expected to play.

According to Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Philadelphia 76ers centerAndre Drummond (toe) has been downgraded to unavailable after carrying a questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the Dallas Mavericks. The left toe issue has given the veteran a lot of problems over the last month. With so many injuries, the Sixers need him back on the floor. His next chance to return comes on Wednesday against the Heat. Joel Embiid(knee) is available for Tuesday's game, and with Drummond out of action andGuerschon Yabuselestarting for the injuredPaul George(finger),Adem Bona will see an expanded role at center coming off the bench this evening.

Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphiareports that Philadelphia 76ers guard/forwardEric Gordon(knee) is unavailable for Tuesday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran sharpshooter will be out for a second consecutive game due to knee soreness. With the 36-year-old out of action, Ricky Council IV will likely take on extra minutes. OnSunday against the Boston Celtics, Council finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. He will be a viable option for fantasy managers again on Tuesday, especially with Gordon out.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is set to return to the court on Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks after being unavailable for 15 games. 76ers head coach Nick Nurse stated that Embiid will not have a strict limit on his minutes during the game. He added that 30 minutes is a realistic expectation, though the final number would be determined by how Embiid feels throughout the game. Guerschon Yabusele has started at center during Embiid's absence and will remain in the first unit on Tuesday, moving to the power forward position.

Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphiareports that Philadelphia 76ers point guardKyle Lowry(hip) won't suit up against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. Lowry will sit out after returning to the Sixers lineup for the last five contests. The 38-year-old veteran guard has been dealing with soreness in his right hip that has limited him to playing in only 30 games this season. He is no longer considered a fantasy factor when healthy, averaging just 4.3 points in 19.6 minutes per contest.
