Philadelphia 76ers point guard Kyle Lowry (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics. Lowry is managing a right hip injury and will miss his third straight game. Lowry has played in 33 games this season and has missed 19 games due to various injuries. This season, Lowry is averaging only 4.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. Jared Butler should see some minutes off the bench behind starting playmaker Tyrese Maxey, who is returning after suffering a knee injury.

Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Eric Gordon (wrist) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against Boston Celtics. Gordon has missed two straight games against the Toronto Raptors and the Brooklyn Nets due to a right wrist sprain. The 2024-2025 season has been a rollercoaster for Gordon who's averaging 6.8 points in 19.7 minutes. Quentin Grimes and Ricky Council IV will likely receive additional work in Gordon's absence.

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey (knee) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Boston Celtics. Maxey was out on Feb. 12 against the Brooklyn Nets due to a knee contusion, but luckily for the 76ers, he is ready to jump back into action on Thursday night. Joel Embiid (knee) is also expected to play against the Celtics, marking just the 14th time that Maxey, Embiid, and Paul George are all available to suit up for the 76ers. Due to Maxey's return, Jared Butler will have to settle for a bench role.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is not on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics, indicating that he will be back on the floor. Embiid missed Philadelphia's previous game, the second leg of a back-to-back, against the Brooklyn Nets on Feb 12. He has featured in four of the team's last six games, averaging 26.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in 33.3 minutes. Embiid's return will likely result in Guerschon Yabusele moving to the power forward position, with Quentin Grimes dropping out of the first unit.

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Kyle Lowry (hip) didn't practice on Tuesday, leaving his status uncertain for Thursday's matchup against the Boston Celtics. The veteran playmaker is managing a right hip injury and has sat out two games. Lowry's performance levels have dropped off massively in 2024-25, as he is averaging only 4.0 points and 2.8 assists in 18.9 minutes. Newly acquired Jared Butler will take on extra responsibilities if Lowry doesn't play on Thursday. However, he probably won't have much impact in fantasy basketball, as starting point guard Tyrese Maxey (knee) appears to be on track to return.
