Cole Anthony Slated To Suit Up On Thursday

According to Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Magic point guard Cole Anthony(knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Anthony left Tuesday's contest versus the Cleveland Cavaliers early due to a hyperextended left knee. However, he won't need to miss any further time. WithJalen Suggs(quadriceps) unavailable, Anthony has been Orlando's starting point guard for the last nine games. His production has been inconsistent during that period, averaging 10.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals during 23.7 minutes. With Anthony back in action, Anthony Black's minutes on the floor will be reduced.

Jalen Suggs Remains Out On Thursday

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (quadriceps) will remain sidelined for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors, marking his 14th consecutive absence. Suggs is not participating in contact drills during practices, suggesting he is still some way from being game-ready. However, while speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley stated that Suggs has not been ruled out for the season. Following Thursday's action, Orlando has 21 more contests left. With Suggs unavailable, Cole Anthony (knee) and Anthony Black have been sharing point guard duties. Anthony may also be out on Thursday, as the team has listed him as questionable on the injury report.

Cole Anthony Listed As Questionable For Thursday

Orlando Magic point guard Cole Anthony (knee) is regarded as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Anthony left Tuesday's contest versus the Cleveland Cavaliers early due to a hyperextended left knee. However, there is a possibility that he may not need to miss any further time. With Jalen Suggs (quadriceps) unavailable, Anthony has been Orlando's starting point guard for the last nine games. His production has been inconsistent during that period, averaging 10.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals in 23.7 minutes. If Anthony is unable to play against Golden State, Anthony Black will move up the depth chart.

Cole Anthony Won't Return On Tuesday Night

Orlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (knee) won't return to Tuesday's meeting with the Cavs. Anthony got the start once again in place of the injured Jalen Suggs (quadriceps). He logged 21 minutes, although he would finish with only six points, five rebounds, and four assists before exiting with a hyperextended left knee. The Magic may not have Suggs or Anthony on Thursday against Golden State. As a result, Anthony Black, averaging 8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steals in nine starts, should find a place in more fantasy lineups than usual.

Jalen Suggs Ruled Out For Tuesday

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (quadriceps) will not rejoin the lineup on Tuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has been ruled out for a 13th consecutive game. Suggs had an impressive start to the season, but health issues have significantly impacted his year. He has played just once since Jan. 3. Cole Anthony and Anthony Black have received more work during Suggs' absence. Anthony has enjoyed an eight-game spell as a starter but produced a five-point dud in Sunday's win over the Washington Wizards. On Sunday, Black was tied for the most points on the team with 23. However, he had finished the previous contest with zero points, showing that inconsistency continues to be an issue for the second-year player.
