However, he also began developing concussion-like symptoms, keeping him off the floor for Orlando's previous two contests. Without Bitadze in the equation, Wendell Carter Jr., averaging a decent 8.5 points and 7.7 rebounds in 21 starts this season, should continue to fill the void in the lineup against a Nuggets squad that has struggled on the defensive end this season.

However, head coach Jamahl Mosley indicated Bitadze had "some late symptoms," so the team will monitor him. Without him, Wendell Carter Jr., amassing 12 points, 10 boards, and two steals versus Milwaukee, will likely handle things in the middle once again, with Jonathan Isaac coming in for relief. With that said, the Celtics are one of the best defensive teams in the National Basketball Association, meaning both players could have issues producing on Friday night.
