Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee) is questionable to play against the Lakers on Monday. The Thunder star has sprained his right knee and could be absent for the first time this season. Josh Giddey should receive a big boost without Gilgeous-Alexander on the court, while Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe would be candidates to step into the starting unit. Joe is the better player but has been far from a reliable fantasy option.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander now has 22 30-point games to his name this season and has collected 27 games of 30 or more. He's firmly in the race for the MVP award and every game bolsters his resume. In the 139-77 drubbing of the Portland Trail Blazers, Gilgeous-Alexander posted 31 points, five rebounds, four assists, one block, and two turnovers while shooting a red-hot 11-for-15 from the floor and 8-for-8 from the free throw line. While he hasn't been hitting as many threes as the normal guard in today's NBA, he's been producing elite-level stats everywhere else and boasts one of the best field goal percentages in the league, which is unheard of for a high-volume point guard.

Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (neck) and forward Patrick Williams (ankle) are both available for Wednesday's game versus the Houston Rockets. The Bulls' role players should both be good for their usual workloads, considering this matchup is neither the first nor second leg of a back-to-back, but they are trending down with Zach LaVine (foot) and Nikola Vucevic back in the fold. This contest also features the lowest implied point total (216.5) on Wednesday's 10-game slate by a wide margin, so this is probably not the right environment to dig into the bargain bin on either side for DFS purposes. Without a true point guard running the show amid Lonzo Ball's (knee) absence in the Windy City, Chicago's slow-paced offense sees them sit last in the Association in possessions per game (98.2).

Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (neck) has been tagged questionable for Monday's matchup versus Charlotte. He's nursing a cervical strain and couldn't play against the Hornets on Friday. However, Caruso practiced on Sunday, and it looks like he could be back in the lineup after missing only one game. The versatile guard has had a great year in Chicago, averaging 10.0 points with 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.3 steals. He'll likely jump back into the starting unit if he's ready to return, bumping Ayo Dosunmu back to the bench.
