Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (elbow) is questionable for Friday's showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers. The former Trail Blazer had 20 points and six assists on Wednesday night versus Golden State. But he's apparently now dealing with a right rib contusion, although details surrounding the injury are currently vague. The Bucks and the Lakers play late on Friday evening, so fantasy managers will take a chance by putting Lillard in their lineups. If he does get ruled out, Patrick Beverley would likely see a significant uptick in fantasy production. Additionally, Lillard's potential absence could mean more ball-handling work for Giannis Antetokounmpo (Achilles), assuming he plays, potentially resulting in a bump in usage.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (ankle) seemed to dodge a serious injury as he's only expected to miss "at least a game or few games." According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, there is optimism that his absence won't be lengthy. That's a sigh of relief for the Warriors and fantasy managers everywhere. Curry hasn't been supplying the season that most expected of him this year, but he's still been one of the most consistent players on the Warriors. In the meantime, Chris Paul should see a big boost in playing time while Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Andrew Wiggins will all take on some more opportunities as well.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (ankle) was originally expected to miss 7-10 days with an ankle sprain, so it's not surprising that he's not supposed to play against the Boston Celtics on Saturday. Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reported that head coach Frank Vogel told the media that Booker is doubtful for this contest, so there's an outside chance he plays. With that being said, fantasy managers should still look for a backup plan which could be either Grayson Allen or Eric Gordon. Both should get plenty of opportunities without Booker's offense on the floor, but Allen has been looking like the most consistent option.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (concussion) remains on the sidelines for the team's game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, but there was a promising sign as he was seen getting shots up after shootaround was over. The up-and-coming combo guard has missed the team's last two games after experiencing concussion-like symptoms following their contest against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The fact that he's getting some sort of on-court work shows that he's getting closer to a return. Fantasy managers will want to stay tuned for an official report ahead of their next game which is Sunday against the New York Knicks.

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis was one assist shy of his 23rd triple-double this season but was still able to lead the team to a two-point win over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. Sabonis has been one of the most impressive players in the league this year but has constantly been overlooked just like he was for the NBA All-Star game. In this game, he finished with 31 points, 17 rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block, and four turnovers while cashing in on 14 of his 19 field goal attempts. He now has 58 double-doubles and 23 games of 15 or more rebounds this season. He'll be a sleeper fantasy league winner this season after coming in as a second-round pick according to his ADP.
