Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (ankle) is questionable for Friday's matchup with Cleveland. The 22-year-old had a massive 44 points on Thursday versus the Indiana Pacers. However, he tweaked his ankle in that one, so fantasy managers had an idea he'd show up on the injury report heading toward Friday's game. Luckily, Edwards is one of the most durable players in the league, meaning it would take a lot to keep him off the floor. But things happen, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker in line to start if Edwards gets ruled out. Alexander-Walker has averaged 9.5 points and 1.1 steals in 17 starts this season. Although those numbers aren't the best, they are good enough to get him into some fantasy lineups.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Nicolas Batum (foot) is uncertain to suit up for Friday's game against the visiting Pelicans. The 35-year-old has been heavily involved of late, logging 30 minutes in four games in March. But he's dealing with foot soreness, and considering his history, fantasy managers should begin planning accordingly. If Batum is ruled out, Kenyon Martin Jr. might see more action. However, he'd be a risky option in any fantasy format.

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas (ankle, foot) is expected to play on Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets. The 22-year-old has been potent on the offensive end throughout the 2023-24 campaign, averaging a career-high 20.9 points. Yet, he's suffered a few injuries this season, with his latest ailment keeping him off the floor for Brooklyn's previous six contests. Although there's a chance Thomas could see fewer minutes in his first game back from the lengthy layoff, his presence may result in fewer scoring chances for Dennis Schroder, who is coming off an impressive 31-point showing in Thursday's loss to the Pistons.

Brooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (wrist) is probable for Saturday's game in Charlotte. The 22-year-old sprained his wrist on Monday versus the Grizzlies, keeping him off the floor for meetings with Philadelphia and Detroit. Sharpe has logged just 15.6 minutes per game this season and has averaged 7.3 points and 6.7 rebounds, meaning he hasn't been a consistent fantasy producer. However, Ben Simmons (back) is done for the year, so there are minutes up for grabs. In addition, Brooklyn will meet the Cavs on Sunday night. As a result, Sharpe could get more action, making him a worthwhile fantasy option in deep, category formats, mostly for his rebounding prowess.
