According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Raptors plan to waive guard Spencer Dinwiddie. The veteran was traded to Toronto ahead of Thursday's deadline, ending his second stint with the Brooklyn Nets. Although he has had a down year up to this point, primarily due to the emergence of Cam Thomas, he still had more than a few solid outings for fantasy managers. Dinwiddie has averaged 13.6 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.1 assists in 514 regular season games. The 30-year-old probably won't remain without a team for long, and he'll likely land a routine role in a rotation wherever he ends up. Managers in all formats should keep Dinwiddie on the roster for now, considering his numbers could improve moving ahead.

The Philadelphia 76ers made multiple moves on Thursday in an attempt to improve their roster for a deep postseason run. On Thursday, the Sixers acquired guard Cameron Payne from the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Patrick Beverley. The expectation is that Payne is going to be the primary backup guard behind Tyrese Maxey. Payne has played well as a reserve option over the last few seasons. However, his fantasy value is going to remain limited due to the fact he'll usually be playing off the bench. There could be some streaming appeal on nights where the Sixers are shorthanded, but Payne probably won't have every-game value.

The Milwaukee Bucks have made a move to bring in some help on perimeter defense. On Thursday, the Bucks acquired guard Patrick Beverley from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for guard Cameron Payne and a 2027 second-round pick. Beverley figures to be the primary backup guard to Damian Lillard on the depth chart. He's an above-average defender and a solid all around player to have on the roster. However, it's unlikely that Beverley gets enough playing time to warrant in standard 12-team fantasy formats.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (hip) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Utah Jazz. This game will be Booker's first absence since the beginning of December. The expectation is that Eric Gordon is going to move into the starting five. Gordon will have increased value and is worth a look as a streaming option. Fantasy managers should double check the waiver wire to make sure Gordon isn't on there. He's well worth a look while the Suns are banged up.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The superstar guard will miss his second game in a row due to a left ankle sprain. His absence is going to leave the team extremely shorthanded at the guard spot on Thursday. Pat Connaughton should remain in the starting five and is worth a look as a streaming option. Andre Jackson Jr. should see more minutes off the bench which should give him increased value as well.
