Charlotte Hornets center Jusuf Nurkic (back) will play on Friday versus Cleveland. Mark Williams (left foot, injury management) won't suit up, so Nurkic will likely slide into the starting lineup. He has averaged only 6.9 points and 7.6 rebounds in seven games with the Hornets. Yet, the veteran amassed 12 points, nine boards, three steals, and one block in his most recent start of the 2024-25 campaign. As a result, Nurkic is an ideal streaming option, despite the tough matchup on the horizon. He'll also draw value interest from DFS managers.

New York Knicks guardJalen Brunson(ankle) is ruled out for Friday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers. Brunson suffered what appeared to be a right ankle sprain during overtime in Thursday's 113-109 loss to the Lakers. He exited the game before it concluded with 1:20 remaining due to the injury. Despite suffering the setback, the 28-year-old posted 39 points, 10 assists, and four rebounds across 41 minutes on the floor. After receiving negative X-rays on his right ankle, Brunson could still miss a couple of games, but it appears he won't be out long-term. Cameron PayneandMiles McBride will likely see expanded roles while the Knicks' star guard is on the shelf.

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (illness) will play on Friday against Cleveland. He's been on the injury report with a nagging ankle issue. But Ball was in danger of missing Friday's game because of an illness. The Cavaliers are a top team in the National Basketball Association. However, the 23-year-old has averaged 27.5 points, 8.0 assists, and 2.0 rebounds in two meetings with Cleveland this season. With Ball on the floor, Damion Baugh will come off the bench, eliminating most of his fantasy potential.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Dallas Mavericks forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper (wrist) is expected to undergo season-ending surgery on his right wrist. The 2023 No. 24 overall pick has played sparingly this season. But with injuries to Kyrie Irving (knee), Anthony Davis (adductor), and Daniel Gafford (knee), among others, he has averaged 6.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in three games in March. Prosper has an uphill climb to make an All-Star team moving ahead. However, he likely still has some untapped potential, meaning dynasty managers can keep him on the roster for now, especially with the uncertain future of the Mavs' roster beyond the 2024-25 campaign.

Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports that Miami Heat forwardAndrew Wiggins(ankle) is unavailable for Friday's matchup against one of his former teams, the Minnesota Timberwolves. The 30-year-old will miss his fifth consecutive contest due to a right ankle sprain. While Wiggins has been out of action,Haywood Highsmithhas returned to the rotation, andKyle Anderson has also seen an expanded role with his new club. Highsmith has averaged 10.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists over the past five games.
