Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) will play on Sunday versus Miami. He missed Friday's game against Charlotte because of calf soreness. However, the 26-year-old will return to the lineup after just a one-game absence. Shamet has averaged 7.3 points in 45 games this season. But that's not enough to make him a worthwhile fantasy asset, so he'll likely remain benched in most leagues.

Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) is questionable heading into Sunday's game against the Miami Heat. Shamet missed Washington's previous game against the Charlotte Hornets thanks to left calf soreness. The reserve has become a solid asset, averaging 18 minutes per game since February. Bilal Coulibaly and Tyus Jones will likely continue to start, but the bench players will benefit most. Corey Kispert and Jordan Poole each saw 30-plus minutes off the bench in Friday's game without Shamet. Poole has averaged 22.8 points on 3.4 three-pointers made since moving to the bench to turn his woeful season around, and his usage only gets better off the bench if Shamet is out.

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (knee) will return to action in Friday's matchup against Orlando. The first-year All-Star ended up sitting out only one game with a left knee contusion. Brunson's return pushes Miles McBride back to the bench. The 23-year-old has struggled to get meaningful minutes as a member of the second unit and won't have much fantasy value. The Knicks star makes his return in a juicy spot, as the Magic will be without their best backcourt defender Jalen Suggs (thigh), which puts Brunson in a good position to go off for a big night.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) will undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and is out indefinitely. The team had already ruled him out for Thursday's tilt with the Pacers. He will be reevaluated around April 8th but will likely miss the final four regular season games. Naz Reid will be relied upon in Towns' absence, and Kyle Anderson should see a more significant role in the team's rotation.

Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets. Dealing with calf soreness, the 26-year-old likely suffered his injury during Wednesday's loss to Orlando. If the guard is ruled out, Jordan Poole, Corey Kispert, and Johnny Davis are candidates to receive increased playing time. Shamet has averaged 7.6 points per game, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 45 contests.
