Miles McBride Returns To Bench Role Friday

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride is not in the starting lineup for Friday's clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Josh Hart (knee) joining OG Anunoby (foot) on the sidelines, McBride was promoted to the starting unit for Thursday's matchup against the Chicago Bulls. He helped the team sneak an overtime win with a season-high 23 points. However, McBride will be back with the second unit on Friday as Anunoby is set to return to action. Precious Achiuwa, who has been filling in for Anunoby during his six-game absence, will remain among the starters.

OG Anunoby Back In Knicks Lineup Friday

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (foot) is poised to return to the lineup on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. League sources have told ESPN's Shams Charania that Anunoby will be good to go for the contest. The Knicks have been without Anunoby for six games after he injured his right foot. Precious Achiuwa has been a regular starter during Anunoby's absence. With Josh Hart (knee) sidelined, Achiuwa may still play a large part in the rotation, but Anunoby's return certainly hurts his fantasy value.

Josh Hart Sits Out Second Consecutive Game

New York Knicks guard/forward Josh Hart (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He will be sidelined for a second consecutive game due to patellofemoral syndrome in his right knee. Hart is considered day-to-day, so it's possible he can return to the lineup for Sunday's big matchup against the Boston Celtics. On Thursday against the Chicago Bulls, Miles McBride filled in for Hart in the starting unit and looks set for a larger workload again on Friday night. McBride was the team's second-highest scorer with 23 points in Thursday's 113-111 overtime win.

OG Anunoby Questionable For Friday

New York Knicks forwardOG Anunoby(foot) is listed as questionable for Friday's matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Anunoby could miss his eighth consecutive contest due to a sprained right foot. If the former Raptor is unable to suit up once again, 25-year-old forward Precious Achiuwa will likely get the nod to continue to start. In his last outing on Thursday, Achiuwa finished with 11 points, nine rebounds and three steals across 46 minutes in a 113-111 overtime win over the Bulls.

Precious Achiuwa, Miles McBride Starting Against Chicago

New York Knicks forward Precious Achiuwa and guard Miles McBride will start in Thursday's game against Chicago. Josh Hart (knee) and OG Anunoby (foot) are both unavailable, so the team will need to plug some holes in the starting lineup. Granted, the Knicks still have Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Mikal Bridges. But Achiuwa and McBride could easily exceed usual expectations, so both are worth streaming in any fantasy format. Cameron Payne should also receive his share of work from off the bench.
