Mikal Bridges Committed To Brooklyn

According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Brooklyn Nets guard Mikal Bridges is "100%" committed to the team. The former Sun recently expressed his disapproval of the offense under Jacque Vaughn, who has since been relieved of his head coaching duties. However, it appears Bridges plans to remain in Brooklyn. "I'm here now and want to stay here," said Bridges during a recent interview. "I'm going to keep grinding and getting to wherever we've got to get to win." The 27-year-old was traded to Brooklyn last season and averaged a career-high 26.1 points in 27 games. But his production has declined significantly, logging nearly five points fewer per contest throughout the 2023-24 campaign. But with Kevin Ollie earning the interim tag, Bridges may get back on track sooner rather than later, so fantasy managers need to remain patient.

Karl-Anthony Towns Drops 50 Points In All-Star Game

Minnesota Timberwolves forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns led all scorers in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday despite the West suffering a 211-186 loss to the East. Towns registered 50 points on 23-for-35 shooting and 4-for-13 from beyond the arc. He also finished with eight rebounds, three assists, and one turnover. Towns, along with the rest of the Western Conference All-Stars, couldn't shoot the three at the same clip as the East as they hit 17 fewer shots from deep. The Timberwolves star still delivered a big scoring night without the three-point barrage like the MVP Damian Lillard. Towns and the Timberwolves will look to hold on to their number-one seed in the West down the stretch of this season.

Delon Wright Agrees On Contract Buyout With Wizards

Washington Wizards guard Delon Wright has agreed to a contract buyout with the team, allowing him to join the Miami Heat after clearing waivers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The 31-year-old has appeared in 33 games with the Wizards this year, averaging 4.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 13.8 minutes per game. With Josh Richardson (shoulder) out for at least a few weeks and Terry Rozier (knee) listed as week-to-week, Wright adds another veteran guard who can help right the ship after the All-Star break. He should step into a decent role at the start, but he remains out of the fantasy landscape for now.

Jalen Brunson Shines After One-Game Absence

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) was available for Saturday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers. After the All-Star tweaked his ankle in Tuesday's win over the Memphis Grizzlies, he didn't suit up on Thursday versus the Dallas Mavericks. But he was back in the lineup for the meeting with Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers. While New York couldn't pull off a win, Brunson picked up right where he left off before going down with the ailment, finishing with a game-high 39 points. He struggled from deep, going 1-for-5, although he made all 10 tries from the charity stripe. The 27-year-old continues to get it done for fantasy managers, and he's now averaging 34.3 points in February. Barring any issues with the ankle, Brunson should be in the lineup for Monday's clash with the Houston Rockets.

Jalen Brunson Questionable For Saturday

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's matchup against Indiana. The first-year All-Star continues to deal with a right ankle sprain that kept him off the court Thursday versus Dallas. Miles McBride had the keys to the offense without Brunson. He put in a massive 45-minute shift and provided good two-way value with 21 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Racking up stats against a pacy Indiana side shouldn't be a problem for him either on Saturday.
