According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Town has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his left knee and is out indefinitely. Minnesota had already ruled him out for Thursday's clash with the Pacers, and it now looks like it's going to be a while until we see Towns on the court again. Towns' absence makes Naz Reid a hot commodity, while Kyle Anderson also looks set to play a larger part in the rotation.

Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Indiana. The four-time All-Star misses a dream fantasy matchup with left knee soreness. Minnesota starts a back-to-back on Thursday, so it's possible the team is simply resting Towns. With him out, Naz Reid will become a popular man in all fantasy formats, while Kyle Anderson could also get a bit of extra burn. The game should be full of big fantasy lines, with Vegas having set the total at 229.5 points.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Cameron Payne (illness) will suit up for Tuesday's meeting with the Nets. He has been under the weather and didn't play on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks, leaving the arena before opening tip to get some rest. Under usual circumstances, Payne wouldn't see much attention from the fantasy community. But with Tyrese Maxey (head) sidelined after being diagnosed with a mild concussion, Payne should draw plenty of interest. The 29-year-old has averaged 13.7 points, 4.3 assists, and 1.3 steals in three starts this year, and he'll make a fantastic value option for DFS participants.

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (knee) will sit out Tuesday's clash with Atlanta. He's been downgraded from questionable to out due to a left knee contusion sustained in the previous game against Cleveland. Miles McBride is looking at a fresh opportunity to start, while Shake Milton is ready for his Knicks debut after he was snapped up following a buyout agreement with the Pistons. McBride has averaged 17.5 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in four games without Brunson this season.

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (knee) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's matchup against Atlanta. The Knicks star hurt his left knee at the weekend against Cleveland, but Brunson luckily avoided serious injury, and it looks like he has a chance to play on Tuesday. However, if he isn't good to go, Miles McBride will likely become a popular pickup among fantasy managers. He put in a huge 47-minute shift after Brunson left on Sunday versus Cleveland and has already filled in for him in the starting unit a few times. The West Virginia product has averaged 17.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.5 steals as a starter. He should have no issues racking up the stats against a Hawks squad that shares the league's worst defensive efficiency with Washington.
