New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (elbow) won't play in Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Anunoby played in New York's past three contests following a month and a half on the shelf due to surgery on his right elbow, and the Knicks will give the three-and-D wing the night off after he struggled to shoot the ball (1-for-8) in Saturday's win over the Sacramento Kings. Expect Anunoby to return in Thursday's showdown with the defending-champion Denver Nuggets for the final outing of the team's four-game West Coast road trip. Over 18 games in the Big Apple without Anunoby this season, Precious Achiuwa is averaging 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, and 1.1 steals and makes for a strong plug-and-play fantasy option as the most likely candidate to join the starting five against a middling Dubs defense.

Initially, there were some reports about the team taking it easy on Anunoby during his first few games or so, but that hasn't been the case yet. In his first three games back, he's played 28, 35, and 33 minutes respectively. He originally popped up as questionable ahead of their last game but ended up playing a full game. One thing about head coach Tom Thibodeau is that he's going to play his starters heavy minutes. If Anunoby isn't experiencing any setbacks and suits up, fantasy managers can expect him to play a normal workload. If he sits out, Donte DiVincenzo will take on a bigger role while Bojan Bogdanovic and Precious Achiuwa will see added opportunities.

Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) will sit out a fourth straight game on Sunday against Boston. Shamet has been shelved with a left calf strain and will have the opportunity to return on Tuesday against Houston. He's one of seven Washington players out with injuries at present, meaning the team is down to bare bones ahead of a very challenging matchup. Corey Kispert and Jordan Poole should be the head honchos for the Wizards against Boston.

But considering the 26-year-old recently returned from a lengthy layoff, head coach Tom Thibodeau could keep him out for this one. That said, Anunoby has played well in his two games since returning, averaging 13.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. If he can't play on Saturday, the slumping Bojan Bogdanovic would presumably see more minutes.

Washington Wizards guard Landry Shamet (calf) will miss a third consecutive game on Saturday versus Chicago. He's dealing with a calf strain, meaning it's looking likely Shamet won't be available for Sunday's clash with Boston either. With Tyus Jones (back) and Deni Avdija (knee) also possibly out on Saturday, Washington's rotation could look very unusual. Jared Butler and Johnny Davis will have a chance to get healthy minutes for once, with Jordan Poole and Corey Kispert getting a larger say on offense against a team that is giving up a league-high 39.7 attempts from three-point range.
