New York Knicks forward/center Precious Achiuwa (hamstring) is getting close to his season debut. Per Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News, Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau has said that Achiuwa could return to the court "in a week or so." The Nigerian big man suffered a left hamstring strain just before the 2024-25 campaign kicked off. After arriving from Toronto in a mid-season trade, Achiuwa notched 7.6 points and 7.2 rebounds in 24.2 minutes with the Knicks last term. He will likely have a smaller workload this season but will be a valuable backup to Karl-Anthony Towns, and the two might even share the court occasionally.

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (knee) is officially active on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets. McBride has been dealing with a knee issue that has caused him to miss the last five games for New York. His return will be welcomed as he's been one of the Knicks' best options off the bench, averaging 10.7 PPG. McBride will have a solid matchup against the Nuggets' bench on Monday. Fantasy managers and DFS managers should both find a way to get McBride into their lineups. There may be the possibility that the 24-year-old plays fewer minutes than normal after coming back from injury but he should still be productive regardless of any potential minutes limits.

New York Knicks forward Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) is officially active on Monday night for the New York Knicks. Towns had been dealing with a left calf contusion but will be able to gut it out. Towns has been lights out after being traded to the Knicks shortly before the preseason, averaging 26.1 PPG and 12.5 RPG to start the season. The 29-year-old has only missed one game this season and is shooting 45.8% from three. Fantasy managers need to ensure Towns is in their starting lineups as he should be expected to have a good game against a familiar opponent from his time in Minnesota. Expect high production from KAT yet again on Monday night.

New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) might have to sit out his second game of the season on Monday versus Denver. He has landed on the injury report with a left calf contusion and is sporting a questionable tag. Towns has looked excellent with the Knicks, averaging 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds, and it would be fun to watch him in his current form going up against Nikola Jokic. However, it seems we may have to settle for watching Jericho Sims and Ariel Hukporti battle against the reigning MVP. Additionally, Towns' absence would provide a usage boost for the rest of the first unit.

New York Knicks guard Miles McBride (knee) remains on the injury report as questionable ahead of Saturday's meeting with Utah. McBride hasn't featured in four games due to a knee problem, and there's a strong chance he remains on the shelf this weekend. Cameron Payne has had a good stretch during McBride's absence off the Knicks bench, averaging 12.0 points and 4.0 assists. He might be even more influential on Saturday because the Jazz allow the third-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season.
