According to Chris Haynes of TNT, New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado will get a three-game suspension. During Friday's matchup between the Pelicans and Heat, several players from both clubs were involved in a scuffle, resulting in the league also handing down suspensions to Jimmy Butler, Naji Marshall, Thomas Bryant, and Nikola Jovic. With this in mind, Butler's one-game suspension will be the one felt most by fantasy managers. However, with CJ McCollum (ankle) sidelined for Sunday's matchup against Chicago, Alvarado was in line to benefit from a production standpoint. But now, Jordan Hawkins, averaging 17.3 points and 1.1 steals in 10 starts this season, is worth streaming in all fantasy setups.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado was involved in a scuffle in Friday's game against Miami and was ejected from the contest early in the fourth quarter. After the teams clashed on the court following Kevin Love's foul on Zion Williamson, Alvarado got into a physical altercation with Miami's reserve big Thomas Bryant. The defensive specialist even tried to climb on the scorers' table during the scuffle. There are definitely fines coming from the incident, and Alvarado is in danger of receiving a suspension. His absence would be quite a blow for the Pelicans' backcourt after CJ McCollum (ankle) exited Friday's contest with an injury.

New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum (ankle) was forced to exit early during Friday's game against the Miami Heat. McCollum suffered a left ankle sprain during the second quarter after he stepped on a teammate's foot. Before that, McCollum was having a rough night from the floor with only two points and two rebounds in 15 minutes. Jose Alvarado started in the second half and should see a boost in fantasy value if McCollum is forced to miss time.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (foot) is available ahead of Friday's game against the Miami Heat. Williamson is surprisingly available after playing 35 minutes during Thursday's game. The Pelicans are without Brandon Ingram (illness) so possibly they didn't want to be without both players. Williamson will have an increased scoring responsibility with Ingram sitting out of this game. That being said, Williamson should have more DFS value than normal for this game. Fantasy managers in season-long formats should make sure to check their lineups and get Williamson in there.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (foot) is officially listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Heat. The 23-year-old logged 34 minutes in Thursday's 127-105 victory over Houston, tallying 27 points, three rebounds, and nine assists. If Williamson is sidelined on the second night of the back-to-back, Trey Murphy III or Naji Marshall are poised for increased minutes. Williamson maintains averages of 22.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in 30.6 minutes per game this season.
