The veteran began last season with the Pacers before being traded to the Raptors ahead of the deadline. He wasn't productive in Toronto in 2023-24, averaging only 9.6 points. If Brown is back, it will be his first game of the season. While that could mean he'll see limited minutes, he's worth monitoring for fantasy purposes in case he returns to form at some point moving ahead.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's game against Houston. The 24-year-old sprained his left ankle in the last contest against Denver on Sunday. However, Murphy III may remain in the lineup versus the Rockets. On Tuesday, the team announced that Murphy III is considered day-to-day. Both Brandon Boston Jr. and Jordan Hawkins would have larger roles to play in the rotation if Murphy III isn't game-ready. New Orleans might also be without another rotational piece in Javonte Green (knee), who is sporting a questionable tag as well.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (hamstring) is nearing his comeback, as the team announced on Tuesday that he is expected to return to full practice next week. Williamson is considered week-to-week. The Pelicans star played in only six games at the start of the season before landing on the shelf with a left hamstring strain. He averaged 22.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks. Brandon Ingram (ankle) has been ruled out for at least two more weeks, so the likes of Trey Murphy III, Brandon Boston Jr., and Jordan Hawkins continue to have extra fantasy value for a bit longer.

Considering the team has labeled him as day-to-day, there's a chance Murphy III doesn't even have to miss any games. New Orleans returns to action on Thursday against Houston. Murphy III has stood out recently with several strong performances, scoring 20-plus points in five of his last six appearances.

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Bruce Brown (conditioning) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the New York Knicks, so his season debut remains on hold. The team has listed him with return to competition reconditioning, and there isn't a firm timetable for his return yet. He last played in the regular season finale last year. Ochai Agbaji, Davion Mitchell, and Gradey Dick will continue to play extra minutes until Brown is able to get back on the court.
