New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (hamstring) is out indefinitely, the team announced on Saturday. The 24-year-old has averaged 22.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks this season. However, he's been limited to only six games. Fantasy managers remember when a hamstring injury forced the former Duke Blue Devil to miss the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign, so there is obvious concern. Hopefully, that won't be the case this time around. With Williamson sidelined moving ahead, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, averaging 12.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in two starts this season, could continue to fill the void in the rotation, at least until Trey Murphy III (hamstring) or Herbert Jones (shoulder) are back on the court.

According to Orlando Magic beat writer Adam Koffler, New Orleans Pelicans head coach Willie Green announced that power forward Zion Williamson will not play in Friday's game against Orlando because of tightness in his left hamstring. The 24-year-old attempted to participate in the game on Wednesday but temporarily left due to an unspecified injury; however, he managed to complete the game. With Williamson unavailable, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Daniel Theis are expected to receive more minutes on the court.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Trey Murphy III (hamstring) will not make his season debut on Friday after being downgraded from doubtful to out. He has been battling a strained hamstring to start the year, and the Pelicans seem to be taking a cautious approach after signing him to an extension. The Pelicans are also without Dejounte Murray (hand), CJ McCollum (adductor), and Jordan Hawkins (back). That leaves Jose Alvarado as a big-time streaming option with some added opportunities going to Brandon Boston Jr. and Javonte Green too.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (hamstring) has received a questionable tag for the team's Friday night contest against the Orlando Magic. The Duke product was able to give it a go on Wednesday, left briefly with an undisclosed injury at the time, but finished out the game. While his scoring and efficiency has taken a bit of a dip, Williamson has increased his rebounding and block numbers so far. If he's unable to suit up, however, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Daniel Theis will see some added minutes and opportunities.

New Orleans Pelicans guards Jose Alvarado (ankle) and Jordan Hawkins (back) are both available ahead of Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Both players were considered questionable coming into this one, but it appears they're feeling good enough to give it a go. Hawkins is back after a one-game absence due to lower back tightness. Hawkins has stepped into a bigger role for the Pelicans lately. He's averaging 21.7 points and 3.7 rebounds across the last three games. He's worth a look as a streaming choice right now. Alvarado scored 18 points during his last game, but Hawkins is the better streaming choice between the two.
