Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier (undisclosed) won't return to Sunday's meeting with the Boston Celtics. The former Hornet suffered what appeared to be a right leg injury while going up for a shot late in the third quarter. While there wasn't an official update regarding Rozier's condition, his injury prevented him from shooting free throws, meaning he was ineligible to return to the contest. Jimmy Butler (personal) wasn't available for this one, and Josh Richardson (shoulder) was ruled out in the first half. As a result, the Heat will be shorthanded for the remainder of the game. There's also a chance the team will be without Butler, Rozier, and Richardson against Milwaukee on Tuesday night. If that's the case, Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo may be tasked with more responsibilities on the scoring end, with Duncan Robinson, Cody Martin, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. in line to start.

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler (personal) won't play on Sunday afternoon versus Boston. He was listed as questionable as of Saturday evening. However, the team allowed him time away to deal with the death of a family member. Miami has a back-to-back left on the schedule heading into the All-Star break. While nothing has been confirmed, it's possible Butler won't be back until the February 23 clash with the New Orleans Pelicans. Nonetheless, Jaime Jaquez Jr. could find his way back into the starting lineup against the C's, giving him a higher-than-usual fantasy ceiling. Of course, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, and Terry Rozier are the favorites to do most of the heavy lifting offensively until Butler is back in the equation.

New York Knicks guard Alec Burks debuted with his new team on Saturday versus the Indiana Pacers. The former Piston came off the bench in this one. Although Jalen Brunson was unequivocally the game's top producer, Burks scored 22 points in just 22 minutes. The Knicks moved on from Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes, so a stable ball handler to support Brunson was desperately a need for New York. Without question, there's a spot for Burks in the rotation. However, fantasy managers shouldn't expect this type of production, at least not consistently, moving forward.

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler is questionable for Sunday's game against Boston. The veteran is tending to a personal matter, so there's a chance he won't be out there for the matinee versus the Celtics. Fortunately, he's not injured, which has been an issue this year. But if Butler doesn't suit up, Tyler Herro, Terry Rozier, and Bam Adebayo should see a bump in scoring opportunities. Also, Jaime Jaquez Jr., averaging 15.6 points in 15 starts during the 2023-24 campaign, could take Butler's place in the lineup if he's unavailable.

New York Knicks guard Alec Burks will play on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers. It will be the veteran's first game with the Knicks, and it comes after he averaged 12.6 points in 43 games with the Pistons this season. Burks probably won't be a consistent fantasy contributor. However, with Jalen Brunson (ankle) questionable and OG Anunoby (elbow), Isaiah Hartenstein (Achilles), and Julius Randle (shoulder) out, Burks could be more productive for fantasy managers right out of the gate.
