According to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, Miami Heat guard/forwardAlec Burks(back) is available to suit up against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday. Burks had been labeled as questionable earlier due to a back injury. However, he will be good to go for the sixth straight game after missing seven in a row. Burks turned in a 17-point effort in 24 minutes on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors, and he will likely see plenty of extra scoring opportunities with Duncan Robinson (back) still sidelined for this evening's matchup.

Filling in for Duncan Robinson (back) in the starting unit on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors, Burks turned some heads with a 17-point effort in 24 minutes. But he may now join Robinson on the sidelines Thursday night due to a back issue. Jaime Jaquez Jr. had just a few minutes on the court against the Warriors, but if both Robinson and Burks can't play on Thursday, he could step up and take on a much more significant role.

Miami Heat guard/forward Alec Burks (back) will return to work on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. He has been cleared to return from a seven-game absence. Before injuring his back, Burks had started in three consecutive games. On Wednesday, he will come off the bench, which will limit Burks' fantasy value. As a reserve, Burks has contributed only 5.9 points per game in 16.7 minutes this season. Tyler Herro, Duncan, Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Bam Adebayo, and Kel'el Ware will start Wednesday's contest for the Heat.
