Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (thigh) is questionable for Monday's clash with the Chicago Bulls. The 25-year-old carried the same injury designation ahead of Saturday's win over the Orlando Magic. However, he was on the floor and finished with a 16-point, 10-assist double-double. There's a good chance Morant will be out there against the Bulls. But he may see fewer minutes than usual until the thigh contusion completely heals, keeping the door open for more production from Scotty Pippen Jr., who has averaged 10.0 points, 7.7 assists, and 1.7 steals from off the bench this season.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (thigh) is questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The 2019 No. 2 overall pick has played well in his first two appearances in 2024-25, averaging 23.0 points and 6.0 assists. But now Morant is in danger of missing the third game on the Grizzlies' schedule because of thigh soreness. If Morant ends up sitting out, Scotty Pippen Jr., who averaged 13.3 points, 5.1 assists, and 1.9 steals in 16 starts last season, would be worth streaming in all fantasy lineups. Pippen would also be a popular DFS option.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Houston Rockets. As expected, Jackson will miss his second straight game due to a hamstring issue. It sounds like Jackson is trending in the right direction, so hopefully he's available for Saturday's contest versus the Orlando Magic. Santi Aldama figures to remain in the starting five for at least one more game. He finished with 27 points, five rebounds, and two assists across 31 minutes in the season opener. Aldama is looking like a reliable streaming option until Jackson is ready to play again.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (hamstring) is doubtful for Friday's meeting with the Houston Rockets. The 25-year-old continues to battle a hamstring strain. He wasn't available for the opener on Wednesday, although Santi Aldama filled the void admirably by finishing with 27 points off 10-for-16 shooting (5-for-10 from deep). Jackson is inching his way back to the floor. But until he returns, Aldama could continue to benefit offensively.

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (shin) has been ruled out for the start of the season. According to Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins, Williams Jr. is "a couple of weeks away" from being ready to play. The 24-year-old is recovering from a shin stress reaction. Once he's healthy again, Williams Jr. will be leading the second unit. He did most of his damage as a starter last year, so Williams Jr.'s fantasy stock will be lower in 2024-25 unless Memphis starts losing its key guys to injuries again. Jake LaRavia and John Konchar should handle Williams Jr.'s minutes until he's ready to return. Neither player is a good fantasy option.
