Brooklyn Nets guard/forward Ben Simmons (back) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against Memphis. He will miss a fourth consecutive contest. Simmons' absence has helped Dennis Schroder nail down a starting role, while Dennis Smith Jr. has logged at least 20 minutes off the Nets bench in the last three games Simmons has missed. We should see multiple Brooklyn players shine on Monday, as the team is considered a nine-point favorite against the depleted Grizzlies.

Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons (back) remains on the injury report but was at least listed as questionable while he still suffers from nerve impingement in his lower back. Simmons has been out for the last three games after appearing in three consecutive games before that. The 27-year-old has appeared in 15 total games so far this season and he vowed to give the team everything he has whether he's hurt or fully healthy. When he plays, he has some value in deeper fantasy leagues, but his value is very limited since he hasn't been on the court. If he has to miss another game, Jalen Wilson and Dorian Finney-Smith will continue to see more minutes.

Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The big man has missed each of the last two games due to an illness. Zubac is traveling with the team to Minnesota, which is a good sign heading into this contest. If he plays, Daniel Theis would head back to the bench and Mason Plumlee would see a decreased role. Fantasy managers will have to check back for another update on Sunday.

Brooklyn Nets guard/forward Ben Simmons (leg) is questionable to face the Hawks on Saturday. He's carrying a sore left leg and might be unavailable for a third consecutive contest. Dennis Schroder has had a good spell in the starting unit with Simmons unavailable. Brooklyn already faced Atlanta on Thursday, and Schroder put in a very good performance against this former team with 23 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Simmons' absence has also allowed Dennis Smith Jr. to hit the 20-minute mark in back-to-back games, but he hasn't hit the same heights as Schroder.

Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac (illness) remains out for Friday's meeting with the Washington Wizards. The 26-year-old is under the weather, so he'll miss a second consecutive game. His next chance to return will be Sunday in Minnesota. But until then, Daniel Theis, who had nine points, five boards, and one block on Wednesday against the Lakers, is a risky fantasy option for those in deeper formats needing a replacement.
